Small unique playstyle idea

At the moment im playing a build with thorns. It feels ok at the moment, im not to excited, but its fine.

As i was playing i had a weird idea, i thought maybe i should play minions again. Then i thought, ohh it would be so funny if i could do a thorn build where i can only defend with thorns but my minions or companions actually attack with my thorn damage.

So a minion build where i totally invest in thorns, but with the restrictness that i cant attack with thorns, only my minions do thorn damage on attack.

Never heard of any game that had this playstyle. I would play that for sure.

Making my char defensiv with thorns and additionally have minions that profit from my thorns.
