Feedback after 1000 hours
Thought I'd do my part as beta tester with 1000 hours in this game, so here's a list of things that need to be addressed imo. I tried to avoid the big known issues that everyone is aware of.
1. Can we have ability to add skill nodes to favourites on a skill tree, just so they stand out. Would be very helpful to build a character if we could just plan ahead and set some nodes to favourites, so we can easily progress towards them. Colour of separate weapon skills could also be tweaked as often they're hard to spot on the tree, especially red. 2. Scrolling through advanced info on skill gems using controller doesn't work, it only goes full top or bottom. Unable to see what's in the middle. 3. Not a big one, but skill gem font size differs when using certain support gems or getting + skill level from gear - or is it intended? I find it inconsistent. 4. Salvaging and disenchanting. This needs rework, it just takes to much time and I often sell rather than disenchant because it's such a pita, then I don't have enough crafting mats later. Too many buttons to click, sometimes I spend more time in town clearing inventory than having fun playing game. Can we just have 1 do-it-all bench. Or mark 'junk' in inventory so we can batch salvage etc. can we just have some option to make it quicker and easier especially with a controller, please 5. Map overlay is not good enough. Can we have more options for customisation. I play with full map all the time, like many other old school players. Problem is that some maps are bright, others are dark, they're different colours, basically I've to at least customise brightness on every map to make it work otherwise it's just not visible. Maybe auto adjust transparency could be an option? Or different colours? Or auto swap to mini map if in combat for X seconds, or stationary for X seconds, or during boss fight, anything like that? 6. With down of the hunt, I can no longer see monsters mods wiki tooltip when I pause the game. Before, when I paused the game at the right moment, I could hover over the mods at the top of a screen and see what they mean. Now they just disappear when I pause. Please can we have it back. And it would be amazing if we could select monster during paused game to see it's statuses. Please, consider. 7. Training dummy and on death info with what caused death. I'll just leave it there.
