Can you not reset Trial of Chaos anymore?

Running into Trial of Chaos in A3 and at the end I see Tornado bird, I try to take it on, almost oneshot, I pause game.. and exit.. no respawn in town nothing.

Next run, end boss is the pooping bird.. again I try it, almost get oneshot.. again.. no respawn in town???

WHY??? Why do I need to wait 15 minutes for instance to reset now.. fix these bosses already, the Chimera is the only boss viable to do without a lot of damage or move speed in SSFHC.. and even that boss has a new bug where it bugs into the wall where it spawns now and doesnt do anything, you just kill it lol, happened now 3x to me.
