We have to talk about crafting
So i have a base this base has T1 to crit damage bonus T2 to crit hit chance and T3 to AS.
Pretty decent stuff so far. I need an upgrade though, and everything is worth north of 400 div and here is why. I start rolling for prefixes... AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, i roll 100 divs worth of omens to try to hit 1 PREFIX so i can frac and move on but i just dont. EVERYTHING ON THIS FUCKING THING IS LOWEST TIER OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Omens are so rare that they are extremely expensive. AND IT DOESNT EXCUSE ROLLING LIKE THIS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO HIT NOTHING. Because let's say i hit my fucking prefix already. and i even hit a frac on a t2 or even t1 prefix now i have to do this ALL OVER AGAIN for the other 2 because it's the only way i can actually get this thing to roll. And as i am rolling down 100 divs worth of omens which is way more divs than most will see in their lifetime i get jackshit from it and i am upset. This game legit has 0 respect for my time. This is just retarded in the worst degree. Crafting is straight up degenerate gambling. We need omens to be more accessible for one, they don't have to be this rare, and we need improvement in the bases themselves because an ilvl 82 shouldn't be rolling 2-3 cold damage and like 4-10 phys over and over again. It just doesn't make any sense. Add more crafting mechanics as well. Last edited by Remsleeprem#2330 on May 16, 2025, 4:02:36 AM Last bumped on May 17, 2025, 11:15:52 AM

And that's exactly the problem.

it´s frustrating same as recombination, it it tells me >10% it should work at least 1 out of 10 trys, in reality it´s nearly less then 1%

Recombination is such a joke because if you even hit the 2 recombined stats that you picked you need to hit at least another 3 to make the item relevant.

In my opinion the "Recombinator" is a good thing.
1.) I like the gambling and the Expeditions to farm for the coins. 2.) I like to compare Gear, switch it and try to understand how to transform stats to others. 3.) What I mean is more important to me than what 99,99999999999999999999% of this community says, like "THIS" is tha best Stat! 4.) It is an Add-On, you can play, not crucial Content. You may ignore the System of it. 5.) If one is a greedy human, i can literally understand how frustrating it must be, not to get what they want. Greetings guy, i guess i am a "greedy human" for trying to get a better quarterstaff and spending insane amounts of divs in my progress of attempting to do exactly that. How is it being greedy attempting to get an upgrade and getting screwed because the game thinks it's really fun for you to never hit a single roll and only gamble. And it's not even about what this as you say "this is tha best stat" that's just wrong. Damage calculation abides by the rules of mathematics so for different builds there is different statweights. Obviously, universally speaking, the higher the tiers of said stats, no matter which you go for, the better. The problem is that in its current state this is highly inaccessible, because crafting just doesn't exist, it's gambling. After what happened, even if i were to spend an average of another 300 divs worth of rolls i am still not in a good chance to hit. And if you think that's greedy you are entitled to your bad opinion but i think it's just something that needs improvement, the system as a whole. And many people agree with me. Noone said recombination or expedition should cease to exist, but they need to become more effective. But more importantly that's not even the core issue. The core issue is that there is a HUGE disproportionate disconnect in value between gear that hit and gear that didnt hit much. That's a big problem. There is no inbetween right now. Your average "div to damage ratio" is all over the place, you buy something nice for 5 then upgrade for 20 and then the next thing available is at 400 because it managed to roll 1 more stat and it doesn't even give you that much. This is a problem. It shouldn't be like this. And players have dropped to the toilet too so there is less and less items generated for builds which due to scarcity makes em even more valuable when crafting doesn't exist. So you have the couple of people that hit their gamble and one is more expensive than the other.

" Greetings. 1) ya, expeditions can be kinda fun. 2)I don't like managing 4 quad tabs worth of base items. 3) i don't get what this part has to do with the mechanic. 4) theres not many other systems to play with at the moment and this one is potentially the most powerful (and time consuming). 5) it doesnt take greed to be annoyed after 2 quad tabs of helmets gets reduced to 1 regal shard. "Beidat honored the pact, though Mancy wouldn't take off Doryani’s prototype."

My most "valuable Item", if you mean th "Divine Value" on Trade, i earned for 1 Exalted. Simply to the basement of not relying on the opinion of a so called Meta, who some guys think to have to explain.
I can promise you, if one understands how the Game is processing and calculating, every single Stat can make more sense than a +5 on Skill Ranks... Greetings. www.pixelfreunde.eu - Schnatz@pixelfreunde.eu - https://www.tiktok.com/@pixelfreunde_schnatz
