Hardware Upgrade Recommendations

Hi gang, I'm using a potato PC that can handle PoE1 ok-ish but has a hard time handling PoE2. I'm playing semi-juiced T15s and I often die from hardware-induced lag. My processor is an Intel Core i5-10400 and my graphics card is a NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super. Which one should I upgrade first between the two? I have 32 GB 2666 Hz RAM, if it matters. Thanks in advance for opinions and advice!

I'd suggest your GPU first mate.
if you ever upgrade your CPU i'd recommend the X3D Chips from AMD.
I have a 5800X3D still and it's incredibly fast.
I didn't feel a need to upgrade to the 7800X3D nor the 9800X3D still, it's like the 1080Ti of GPU's haha.

+ with a new GPU you get access to upscaling like DLSS which helps a ton.
I'm gonna be building my brothers PC next week

Ryzen 5 9600x cpu should be plenty
Radeon 9070 OC Asus GPU (only 650 for a modern gpu, nice imo), I like Asus they make reliable products judging from my 1080ti turbo has lasted me without sleep and still strong for 7 years!
I wanted the AM5 architecture for future upgrades if needed + more compatibility with future graphic tech and game features.

As long as the OS and drivers are very stable, networking all crisp to handle the shader downloads, I think PoE2 runs super well for an early access title.

Your GPU is the bottleneck here. Avoid Radeons, stays with NVIDIA even if they are more expensive. Go with a RTX 3060 or stronger. Make sure your PSU can handle the new GPU.

This is almost exactly what I was thinking. I was planning to get an RTX 3060 TI. Value-wise, is it better to get the TI or is the standard 3060 a better bang for my buck?
