Still not playing as much as I should...

I like Ball Lightning and Sire of Shards. In poe1, I use cwc cyclone and just enjoy the gameplay. No boss potential really, since the skills I rely on were nerfed to oblivion. I have tried other builds and never enjoy it.

In poe2, same skills, but no cwc cyclone enjoyment. So I manually cast. However, poe2 is combo intensive, so I cannot use BL alone. I have to use cast on shock, orb of storms, manual curse casting, lightning warp, arc, and lightning conduit at least.

As I am making my way through waystones, I keep having a boredom issue. I can kill mobs, fight map bosses, etc. If enemies have ele resist, the map is definitely harder (I have a lot of pen and exposure), and if a rare has regen and other defenses, it is harder than map bosses or act bosses.

So it becomes boring. I play a few waystones and stop. Archmage and Eldritch battery both could increase dps, however I cannot cast a single skill in that case.

Hopefully some buffs to BL come along. :D

Same here, logged in to check the new patch but small stuff/fixes won't change their desire for us to play ONLY 2 classes.
Played a single map and had to disconect out of desperation to find something fun. Write this down is 100% more fun than playing poe2 currently.

Eldritch Battery doubles down on both removing ES and double cost. That's just ridiculous peak of nonsense, where skills take stats from you instead of giving.

This season is a total failure, I hope they learn and put the game in a playable and ACTUALLY FUN state.
