Dodge roll needs to be immune to push/knockback mechanics.
Currently if you try to dodge roll a charge attack from a mob with a big hitbox, the mob will still clip you and push you back, cancelling the roll, and you will be dragged along with the attack.
The best example of this is the crone in the Apex of Filth. Her rolling slam cancels your dodge roll, and you end up being dragged along with her attack, getting hit by each phase of it. This seems to be a bugged interaction with the mechanics where you can be pushed out of the way by mobs. I recommend disabling this push mechanics until GGG can implement it correctly.
