Death penalty should not apply more than once on the same map
just lost nearly 30% of my EXP in a single map. It feels like I’ve wasted several hours of progress for one bad run.

Not a bad idea. Still balance isn't ruined but i don't see also any significant benefit from it.

Can relate. That's why I leave after one death to have omen again even if I have portals left. If experience is important to you then this is the tradeoff and I think that is a okay solution (not flawless or the best).

If we have to use omens every time to stop exp loss that just shows bad design. I don't care if it was from 95 and above but you are correct it suck if you die to after death effects that you can't see until your dead. We you kill the mobs their effects should stop and not chase you around the map. Fine leave them in but if I die I want my totems to remain killing stuff until the timer is gone. Fair is fair. Screw the after death effects (talking about you purple chaos bolts that do stupid damage even with 75 resist)

+1.
Either make it only apply once or allow the omen of amelioration to be used more than once in the same instance. i've only died twice in a map a single time, but the 10% loss the second time at 80%+ XP bar on lvl 94 sucked ass. |

Maybe.
Or start it at level 90+. Not sooner. SSF player✔️
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!? |

" Yes its should start at 90+ My 3 char stuck at 95-94 because Invisible Volatile Plants |

" I had those invisible on death effects kill me twice last night in the same map and I have over 4k EH and don't die often. Was about 2 hours of exp gone for an affect that occurred after mom death and could not be seen. My recommendation is just removing the experience from the map you failed in. Why are the taking away experience from successful prior clears. |
