[serious discussion] Can we get a Ruthless mode?

I would like to put forth a proposal directly to Jonathan at Grinding Gear Games. Let me start by saying that I 100% support The Vision™. However the unfortunate reality is that the MTX buyers, who are a small but extremely important minority, do NOT support The Vision™.

So my proposal is this: Split the game into Normal and Ruthless, exactly as PoE 1 had. However the difference here being is that Ruthless will be the main game that receives all the developers (including our beloved Jonathan), and Normal will be run by the Tencent revenue maximizers. With this dynamic, you will be free to craft The Vision™ and all of us Vision™ enjoyers will get the greatest video game ever made AND the redditor zoomers will get their curated version of the game just for them so the cash continues to flow for the company.

Aside from contrarians who find a reason to oppose anything, everybody would easily support this development strategy.

Not a bad idea. I wish to play on ruthless, solo self found but with a party.

This is a series bump from me. Despite the intended satire, I think the community is naturally split and offering a ruthless mode is a way of satisfying a very tiny part of the community . Can't wait to options for private leagues in the upcoming patch.
