recombinators and jewelery items - not viable as craft option
I attempted with around 50 amulets and some rings
I was testing the odds to improve the implicit of an amulet or a ring while moving 1 good mod and another trash mod. eg. getting a ruby ring fire res implicit to improve from 20 fire res to 30 fire res. The results were 0 of the 50 attempt moves 1 mod to the better implicit item. The odds of moving even 1 mod and getting the higher implicit are clearly not factored into the percentage equation. It is very misleading. of the 50 or so attempts 0 succeeded, I even used the same base item like 2 bloodstone amulets to see if the recombination would ever choose the higher rolled implicit. It appears to HEAVILY if ONLY choose the lower roll. As a crafting option this not a good one at all for rings or amulets. You still have to go to trade or pray and hope to get 1 perfectly rolled mod with rolling a tone of white bases.
