Solution To Endgame Mapping Struggles

Endgame mapping is in a controversial state. The loot improvements have helped, although more work needs to be done. Twin towers need to be more common. One tower doesn't provide enough power fully juiced to make mapping worth it, but when you have dual towers the endgame experience is significantly improved. When you get lucky and have a third tower overlapping that's where you notice a huge difference in drop quality of both currency and item tiers. Most tier'd items are still trash but every now and then you find a good one so that's in a good place.

Make dual tower setups significantly more common, and three/four tower setups more common for significant improvement to player satisfaction.

Large water bodies ruin most setups currently but this is easily fixed, add a generation command for strings of islands with nodes along coastlines and within lakes.

Sparse node density areas in-between towers need to be adjusted, often there are large gaps in places that should be densely populated with nodes.

Trenches maps need the corridors widened so they don't feel so depressing and claustrophobic.

Mire needs wider pathways as well.

These claustrophobic maps are terrible for breach and ritual as it greatly limits the number of monsters that spawn. Going in you know these maps will be terrible and it doesn't add meaningful combat, only disruptive and low expectation gameplay.

Nexus's are in a good place at the moment, and the new passive point changes are welcomed.

Boss progression through tiers of waystones is a brilliant change, and lets players progress well.

Doryani needs to sell waystones on a character basis. When you get to maps on a second character you should be able to buy waystones at that characters tier, not tier 14's if you aren't strong enough for them yet.

Delirium fog needs an option in settings to adjust how much saturation is removed from maps, even if it's only 10-20%. It makes maps depressing after a while and adds nothing. Keep the fog just don't ruin how pretty the coloring of your maps are. Plus it interferes with seeing ground effects leading to otherwise avoidable deaths. But thank Goodness we have revives now so that's not an absolute nightmare anymore.

Waystone rolling with omens is in a really good place right now, Although Temporal chains needs to be either removed completely or come with a rarity buff to make it worth running. Currently it only makes waystones useless, it just feels really bad to play those maps for no extra reward.

Waystone quantity is in a good place. You can easily setup towers for waystone farming which completely resolves the problems from last patch and having revives available makes Waystone sustain substantially better.

If anyone has anymore suggestions or feedback regarding endgame mapping please feel free to add them here.
