Can't progress

Hi,

I want to start by saying this is my third character in PoE 2, so I’m already quite familiar with the game. I haven’t encountered this issue before, but now I’ve completed the entire campaign (I already have 8 Ascendancy points), and yet in Act 2 (Cruel), the quest "Ascent to Power" is still showing as active — it says “Return to the Ardura Caravan and speak to Zarka.”

I’ve been trying to complete this for 3 days now, but I can’t interact with Zarka at all — nothing happens. Because of this, when I try to open any map for endgame content, I get the message: "You cannot access endgame content until you have completed the campaign."

This is very frustrating — I’ve done everything I’m supposed to, but the quest won’t complete and it’s blocking progression.

The character that you are playing - have you spoken with Doryani in the Ziggurat Refuge?

Yes, I already spoke to Doryani, so only Zarka is still an issue.

I also had another bug with the two relics you need to drop. The one from the Bone Pit didn’t drop even after a few hours, but we managed to solve that problem. I had to invite someone to my party, and then it finally dropped from a single monster. 😄

Unfortunately, I have no more ideas on how to fix the bug with the Ascent to Power quest.ely I don't have anymore ideas how to fix bug with 'acent to power quest'

You simply need to start your first map from the Ziggurat Refuge. After that you can use the Map Portal in your hideout.

i was not able to use the map device in the refuge (nothing happened when i clicked on it) but had to use mine in the hideout - then it worked.

Oh wow :D can open maps now, but still can't interact with Zarka

Forget Zarka. It's a known broken bit specifically because the full game will not have you running 1-3 twice. Just ignore it.
