My overall experience with 0.2
Hi, let's get into it. It won't be brief.
My strength/armor class can't tank anything despite having damage taken as fire, nearly 500 strength, 75% block and 80% elem resistance and defencive charm. That is not fun. Why did you nerf Titan's blood from 2 times to 3 before the game was even release? Why all my notable atlas passive must have a downside? Why are mace so slow you are obligated to have attack speed on them and the glove to allow the game to feel playable? Why must I Have a cooldown and charge on my shield charge and my leap slam is slower than my charater with 30% speed boots? Why are those purple flower faster than me? Why all rare have multiples AOE around them? Why does my hit hard/hit once character doesn't hit hard and I en up spendding 8h auto attacking bosses? Why are pinacle bosses so hard to stun when Hammer of the gods needs you to stun the them to be casted? Why does I still loot only gear for mages and rogues when I can't f**ing count up to 4 ? On the other hand, everything in unafordable on the trade market. The fact that I still loot T2 items, despite having invested point in bosses loot rarity/quantity in making me mad. I Haven't loot 1 raw div in mapping since the update. Yes loot is better but the overall juicing experience is so obscure and convoluted. You need overlaping towers but you did reduce their number in 0.2. So now one must go around or across the overlaping zone, do the towers (whit hard maps) then go farm the influenced maps. The tablets are used to get more quantity/rarity but also for having the endgame content such as Deli, Breah, ... The tablet with "grant more gold" seems to annihilate the overall loot. Beira's anguish took a nerf but not the most spammed/played spell. That's a bit rich. I know it was warranted but still 53%. I'm not fond of loosin XP, Map configuation, citadel, corrupted nexus when I die. It waste my time. I often end up going to play another game when it happens. And no, omens aren't a realistic solution for XP losses cause you'll need to get some omen first anyway. The game is too involving right now. I often die in POE 2, log in POE 1 do some maps to clear my mind and calm myself and try again after in poe2. It also make me wonder the fate of Cyclone, Righteous Fire and other chanelling spell in POE2. I don't see them implented whitout loosing their souls or conflicting with the more "active" combo style gameplay. I know I won't play POE 2 in the long run if those spell aren't in the game. I mean I'm very salty but poe 1 has been abandonned, POE2 as been one month and an half in arguably rough seas. We don't have any news on what you are working right now. No preview or what's already planed for the next update. The statistics obout the update felt a bit tone deaf when all were already wondering "Loot's better. What's next?" I get that you are working hard for the game. And that the game is still in it's infancy but your studio is not. You need to do better. We know what you're capable of. You've all my support for the upcomming developement but I'd really like you to have more devs stream/weekly "What we working on" because in my sense transparency is the only way to keep the interest of the game alive. Digital Extreme have always made some like bi-weekly devstream and those are overall great for maintaining the community aware of what's to come and what's cooking. You should try. Use that stream studio you've made earlier this year. No need for a 4 hour presentation and interview. Just a quick, neat 1 hour to 1 and an half hour "Hi, I'm Jonathan Rogers. Hi, I'm Mark roberts. Here is a preview of what's to come for POE 1/POE 2". Well that was a rant for sure but in the end I wish only the best to the devs and the game. Hope it helps.
