About trading and trading experience
Hi,
about trading a bit. No sane person should accept a trading system where there's constant, CONSTANT price change after item has listed for a certain price. Like what is the meaning of price and integrity and trust in the game economy if a listed price is literally meaningless because of those players/bots that put item up for low price then start 10x-ing the price when they see messages coming in. And PLEASE, if you think that "i should just skip low offers" then please don't reply here. Is it allowed? Is it not allowed? I don't even know, but common sense tells me that it shouldn't be allowed but the system is built up in such a way that there is no effective way to remove that behaviour. So what's the problem my dudes at GGG? Listing an item for a certain price should have a meaning to it, that's why it's listed for a certain price and not a price range, RIGHT? I think at a bare minimum you should allow us to have a trader credit system that shows a credit/trust score of a trader and it would literally be based on, not player feedback, but the amount of times they change price from low to high after they have gotten a message. Player feedback could be abused, but noticing player price setting patterns that deviate from current economy to the low side and then they start raising price after getting a message, that should be a really objective and good way to at least either a)let other people see their score so that they can avoid them and/or b)automatically limit their behaviour/trading or even access to the game. That would be a minimum fix to the problem of trade but I dont even think they will do that.
Talking about trade is hopeless as I dont think they intend to change a single thing. |
