Poe 2 - no items will drop for me on console bug

Hi there. So I can't play in my console because items just don't show up. I do have a loot filter, which worked fine in the past, but also has had this bug before. I fixed it by opening up a couple different games, then going back to poe2 and resetting the item filter.

However this time I can't fix it, no matter how much research I do or how many fixes I apply. Opening up multiple other games, resetting the loot filters, unfollowing and following again, trying to use no loot filter at all, I even did a full blown uninstall/reinstall. No matter what I do i can't get any items to appear. If I drop an exalt from my inventory I can see the tiny orb on the map but no highlight or way to click it.

It's very frustrating to not be able to play this on my ps5, I bought the game on PC too just so I can play again but it's really annoying not being able to play on ps5 and couch game.

On PC there is a hide function for loot, Z, maybe it's something similiar on consol that you've missed?

There's an option under the Gameplay tab called "Always Highlight". When enabled, labels for items and other things--like strongboxes, portals, and chests--will always be displayed.

Sometimes the labels can cause a lot of clutter on screen, whether it be a lot of items in one location or a large tooltip for a strongbox hiding items behind it, so labels can be hidden by disabling this option.

Because going into the options screen to toggle this option every time would be tedious, there is an action you can bind for toggling it.
The action for controller, and its default binding:


As the above poster mentioned, Z is the default binding for toggling the option when using Keyboard+Mouse.
