poe 2 great servers

I am convinced its not directly the 'servers' at all, but instead, possibly the 'questionable' network and security code used by GGG themselves.

But thats another can of wurms in and of itself.
GGG - Why you no?

right fuck me im done this time, unique map disconnected no portals now fuck this shit game.
Unfortunately it is true that servers are in bad state since patch 0.2 hit, which is sad given the start of early access was flawless.

Please do something about the infrastructure, there is not a day without latency spikes / DCs.

EU servers are in shambles, idk about the other continents.
Given up trying to play today, pausing every second.
Latency fluctuating at a rapid pace.

Kinda understand.

Someone is DDOSing their servers last month, nearly on daily basis.

I mean, that's a poor excuse. Every bigger company deals with that and why only european servers affected? If you needed some time to fix that, fine, but crash and rollback was a day 1 problem.

neither is it european servers only, how do you even come up with that, nor do most "bigger companies" products rely on stable latency throughout.

and the problem is worse for PoE2 simply because kiddies can't take a loss, i.e. LE being delayed or what ever they conjure up in their mind.

yes it is annoying, obviously, but just putting all the blame on the dev's is insane, and precisely what the ddos kiddies want you to do. nice puppet i'd say to that.

The problem is not DDOS but GGGs solution to solve everything with crash and rollback. This is not a 0.2 thing, it happens the same way even in PoE1, even thouugh way more rarely, and it was a thing in 0.1. I would understand your response if it was just a D/C, you could relog and move on. But losing a map every 30 seconds to 2 min just makes the game unplayable.

However I also don't share your DDOS perspective. First in every thread that came lately some people said that they play NA because it's unaffected and people from there confirmed. Second other companies have issues temporarely until fixed, not for months. Third, if your product is that vulnerable to the most common attack, then the failure is by design. We are back at the point of: Find a different solution than crash and rollback.
