Nexus and unique maps are just old towers change my mind

With the old towers you ran them as a T1 map to rush past them as they gave almost nothing. The new towers are great as you get higher reward for more affixes and if you die you can redo it just losing the map/mechanics on the map, but the tower is still doable again.
Now with nexus and unique maps giving atlas points why do i want to run them at an increased difficulty risking my atlas points, having to spend hours mapping to a new location.
The benefit of doing the lowest rank of nexus and/or a map with few affixes depending on which part of the quest you are on, way out weights the benefit of doing a stacked map for more loot as you gain nothing else from it doing with more affixes.
Same goes for the unique maps as they are quite rare, why risk death when i can do it as an T1 map the first time i see it to get my atlas points.

Because running a t15 4 mod waysrone is still as safe as a normal map and therefor actually get loot from a nexus map.

Same with the unique maps. If you only want ilvl65 gear, sure run T0's.

Doing a kalandra map only to get an ilvl65 ring/ammy is pretty dumb imo
