Can't cast any spell for no reason

Everything was fine in the morning, but now I'm faced with the problem that I can't use spells and a red singalong and a strange sound appear above my character's head. It is noteworthy that the problem has existed for a long time and still no one thinks to fix it. I will also add that if I remove the entire energy shield, then the spells work, but as soon as the energy shield begins to recover, then the ban on the use of skills is again. Need a hot fix!

I'll add that I don't have "Eldritch Empowerment" or any specific unices.

No useful info bro, even for an attempt to help. Can you post PoB or something?

Also, what is:
"a red signalong"? Red sign appearing above the head with sound?
A screenshot could be nice. Sounds like you curse yourself with something and some weird interaction is happening. It can be a bug because of some rare interaction with a self-made build, or just a mistake and you missed something.
A screenshot of the debuffs menu can be cool too.

I'm asking for a PoB because it sounds more like you missed some interaction and not a bug, but who knows...

I think I saw a GGG comment in a previous thread on this issue pointing that out as an indicator that the skill has a Life cost and you are unable to pay it.

Eternal Life prevents your Life from changing while you have Energy Shield, which also prevents you from Sacrificing Life (treated as Sacrificing 0 Life), and prevents you from spending Life for skill costs.



I don't know if it's what you were trying to do, but you can't use Eternal Life and Blood Magic to use skills for no cost.

Yep. I can only think if he's using some https://www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/Sanguine_Diviner wand or if he picked nodes like 'portion of Mana Cost converted to Life cost' or something similar.
That would explain why he cannot use skills with CI (if he has one).
And he said he removed ES, so probably he did remove all items and CI, which gave him life back and he was able to cast again.

Проверь тултип цены умения или в G меню. Если у тебя скиллы едят Life и у тебя не достаточно Life, например из-за Chaos Inoculation или конверта "части цены маны в хп", то ты не можешь кастовать.

Problem solved. "% of skill mana cost converted to life cost" on jewel ruined everything.
