Wisps - going back over areas of the map ive cleared

Have had several instances where Wisps back track of the part of the map I've just cleared and never run into any monsters to juice up.

Is especially bad in enclosed/indoors maps where they will just wander down empty hallways until they disappear, instead of navigating towards areas with monsters.
