GGG, come and admit it finally

PoE 1 is dead. You don't want to update it anymore. You want to leave it behind and shut it down in favour of PoE 2: Vision Edition.

Why are you still keeping up the facade of hope for another PoE 1 league which is not likely to happen anymore? Just come and admit it. It's not like it's going to get any better when you keep silent about this situation.

Because PoE 1 players are the ones who buy all the supporter packs, this becomes even more clear when you look at the supporter badges on the forums and note the stark difference between those who believe/d in PoE 1 and GGG and those who support the vision for PoE 2.

In short, they likely hope that there are more dumb people like me who trusted GGG and bought the Liberator of Wraeclast supporter pack.

Lesson learned.
I’ve never known someone who formed so many strong opinions in 1.5 months.
It's pretty tight for them now and the population for the current private leagues shows it, I just hope that all the resources they moved from poe1 to 2 are used to their full extent.

of course poe1 is not "ded" that's just a five year old kneejerk that doesn't seem to go away.

I'll bet money with anyone here that we get a new poe league this Ju-... third quarter-... for sure this year?

ANYWAY, poe2 looks stable (?) now so I'm hoping they move the crisis resources back to poe1. I'm in no rush anyway, still have like ten major games in my backlog.

Ive said this a hundred times, they put out a bad league and still make millions thanks to supporter packs which means they wont learn the lesson and it will get worse, it got worse because no one listened and now they broke the game, remove historical loot buff, quadrupled down on AN, nerfed to the ground sentinels and affliction, mostly nerf stuff instead of buffing, stopped releasing good league mechanics

They don't make millions per patch, but the point is more or less correct. Bad leagues are not the main problem though. They just have an identity crisis for the last few years. They started by developing and being one of the best ARPG's ever made for some time (until the infamous Arch-nemesis shit came to light), then started devolving PoE1 in it's current state and now we're here. The problem definitely are the players and streamers though, who can't decide if they want to play a good game or protect GGG's every decision.
It's strange reading "PoE has been going down in recent years" - posts from people who've only joined in recent years.

3.26 will happen. GGG can't really take the PR hit of going back on that. Anything past that, who knows. I'm considering this upcoming league the last proper league PoE will ever get.
They will have both games ping-ponging off of each other it's been said numerous times.

Just be patient

Yeah. I really want to believe that. It would be super awesome if PoE 1 still got support and regular leagues, even if on a longer schedule than 3 months.

However, GGG's stance of "don't comment, let the situation handle itself" doesn't give me much hope that PoE 1 will still continue to be supported alongside PoE 2.
