I haven't been able to play since 0.2 released
Since 0.2 my game crashes my PC. This didn't happen release. The game crashed in 0.1 but not this frequently and was just the game. Now it is my entire PC getting a black screen and the fans of the machine going full speed until I hard reset the PC from the physical button in front of the case. The audio keeps going, and while playing with a friend he told me that he could see my character still running while my screen goes black.
I have tried everything, including playing the game from Steam or from official Launcher. Of course that have tried different resolutions, scaling, DX12 - Vulkan, etc. Nothing is working to fix the issue. I simply can't play the game. It will always crash within an hour or a few minutes. This happens in maps and while playing campaing. Solo or in party. My PC is running an RTX 3080 10GB, Ryzen 5900X and 16GB of RAM. Every other game runs well. The only game crashing my machine is this one. I have never came across a single product that literally wanted to deny my right to get technical support. I have sent an email with a verified code to technical support, and the answer was that they weren't going to give me any solution and they just pasted a bunch of links to forums full of people that haven't been able to solve their problems neither. I am aware that this is an early access, but I am not sure that the game not working and denying support to the users is something allowed for companies. This is not a free to play game, yet. Please give me the support needed to fix my problems and being able to play or a refund. Last bumped on May 3, 2025, 4:30:34 PM

You kinda have to troubleshoot yourself. I have a similar setup and I rarely crash. I'm not on Windows 11 tho and I monitor my hardware temps. This game is hard on the hardware so make sure your PSU is not saturated and that temps of your CPU and GPU are under 80c (ideally).

" ''You kinda have to troubleshoot yourself'' - No, I shouldn't. This is a paid product and in the terms and conditions don't say anythig about ''troubleshooting yourself''. That being said, this is not a hardware/temps/OS issue. It is clearly a patch issue. I won't install the OS again and waste hours just to make the game work how it should. I am a Windows 10 user. That shouldn't be a problem neither. One thing is having to wait a couple of days until they can hit you back, but a different level of irresponsibility is straigh saying they won't help. Especially because the people like me, who paid to play the EA, paid for that only especific reason: to play. GGG is trying to take all the advantages from an indie company while having Triple A earnings with an early access. |
