Idk if hes juicing his stuff properly but he is right that currency isn't dropping like it was last league. I'm at about 1800 hours between both leagues and yes, multi tower setup with juiced and deli'd waystones isn't dropping as much as it was either. You're lucky to have that much based on some of the ones I've seen.

I do, but they won't believe me either way or are just hell bent on trolling.
I run instilled delirium waystones with quantity and rarity mods.
all my towers have 15% rarity tablets in them and i try to overlap them properly.
Ritual/Breach/Boss is what i usually go for.

i don't find 4 towers overlapping much but 3 gets the job done.
both my rings have 40%+ rarity on them, my amulet as well.
Gear rarity is at 145%.
I am well over the regular rarity metric most of the time.

Div drops are random man. Yeah you can help augment the maps, but it still might not matter. Last season, my buddy and I played together almost every night and i had 10+ div drops to his 2. This season he has already dropped 2 and I've yet to see one across 2 endgame level characters.

It's part of the game man.

With almost 1000 hours in just 4 months, I can absolutely understand that you are tired and need a break. Come back next season and enjoy the game again!

After spending some time with 0.2g i can say, POE2 is back :)

It feels like 0.1 again with the loot.
Maybe slightly higher rate, but not by a lot.
