Where the mod blocks the information that helps players avoid BAD STUFF and then locks the fuckin thread... this is WRONG! Ok, so ive already dealt with a china hacker on a system that ive never had compromised in about ~15 years of gaming... i STILL dont know how the fuck it was possible with all the scans and such i did and nothing ever found... Now the only thought is that maby it came from an already opened website on my system or such? (wild guess but i dont hack people so i donno) but it was suggested that a RMT advertisement on a PoE website was prob the site that caused the problem... Then soemone comes on here to warn others so thye dont get hacked and the fuckin mods come and LOCK THYE FUCKIN THREAD AND DELETE THE INFORMATION THAT A PLAYER IS USING TO HELP OTHER NOT GET HACKED! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! The only way that would even make a fuckin TINY ASS bit of sense is if GGG is doing the hacking their selves, which id hope not and doubt but WTF would you NOT allow you community to protect eachother? this causes NO trouble to you? if website bitches that forum complained ect, who cares you didnt write it, someone else did? so your not responsible for "loss of hits" to a website that i doubt you were ever responsable for in the first place... Or maby GGG owns the RMT sites now, that would actually make sense of this crap... Just how fkin rude can you be to take away the ability for players to protect eachother, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE FUCKING SITES ARE! Edited Out: reason explained in post below

Also if you wanna compalin about the PK comment, i forgot it warns you in game and i agree that you could have issues with people ruining reputaiton, but the website bullshit, JUST WRONG!
So yea, i understand if you dont allow people to trash other players.... but you shouldnt stop people from protecting eachother from a malicious website... peopel can decide for themselves if they want ot visit it after knowing... |

Or even worse, someone can player kill you and then make a false claim that you were player killing him just to rub it in. Also, even if we name player killers, I doubt we will name even 1% of them. There is little to no security in being allowed to accuse people without evidence. That said, I hope they actually investigate the suspicious website and if the warning about it is true, restore the link to it and reopens the tread. |

" yea thats why i reposted with a responce to that, ill just edit that part out then hah but still, the bad webpages stand.... they dont investigate, when i was hacked i told them exactly what websites i had visited in the last X days, they said they couldnt evne check or basically wouldnt, the GGG person i was talking to checked a few on his phone for me to let me know about the RMT advertisement i completely overlooked (who reads advertisements anymore?) - but then told me it looked bad but they cant say if its safe or not, casue the site could be safe one day and bad the next, but if its bad one day it will prob never be safe... so warning about sites is a great thing, they should have a sticky with a list of sites people have reported with reason why it was reported and thoughts behind it, but then they are responsible for their list, where as letting users speak for themselves keeps responsibility away from GGG... So... You're upset that GGG is not a global internet security company?
Why should they investigate anyways, YOUR pc is up to YOU to protect. GGG added in a layer of security from preventing unknown locations from being able to access your account. Good for them. But in no way shape or form should they roll back for something that was your fault. Edit. I say have a forum that allows people upload information on others that is only viewable to the devs. Then, after the information is pondered through, if it is deemed that it is a valid accusation, open the thread to the public(locked of course) for viewing. If its deemed to not have enough information, or not a valid accusation, just don't unlock it. Therefore there is no public name shaming.
As for security and why they wont investigate. The only way it has anything to do with GGG is if they have a server breach. They don't need your information to investigate that. If your account was hacked, then so was your email, and you either are keylogged, or use the same(or simple) passwords for your account and email. Both of which are not their fault, and require ZERO action on their part. I do agree that if they even have an inclination that a 3rd party site is questionable, they should themselves post warnings. |

Am I ever glad I don't take this game seriously. This is my last game and when I get bored with it or my weak game play stops me I won't be playing any computer games. I'm 63 so I think I better start doing something else. Cheers |
