POE 2 - Multiplayer thoughts

So i have come to the conclusion that I for now wont be playing co-op with my buddy in POE 2.

For a game that initially talked about couch-co-op and and general co-op, Me and my buddy feel that the Awards are just not enough to motivate joining Endgame maps together or end game bosses.

The game scales up in mob health/armour or whatever and makes them take longer time to kill, bosses are alot more tanky.



This is coming from me, I have played around 800 hours since the ”EA realease”, around 50% of that time has been with my buddy, and that is coming to an end now.

I think GGG needs to rethink the approach for Multiplayer, the awards should be scaled up somehow, I understand that there will be groups trying to take advantage of any xp / item rewards that might be improved.

Multiplayer is kinda Dead imo, the risk/reward is to low, especially 85+ with XP loss on death.



Thoughts i have is below is either Combination or just one of the suggestions:

Improve ilvl/tier loot drops, to compensate for risk (risk/reward must be tweaked)
Scale down tankiness of especailly bosses
Reduce death penality in group as a result of mobs scaling up/tankiness.


The game has great potential eventho the current state overall feels broken with loot not beeing great, I just feel its unfortunate that me and my buddy feel liek we are beeing punished for wanting to play co-op.



This will fall to deaf ears ofcourse, but atleast i have my POV out there now and one can only hope!
