Paladin Weapon Effect Compatibility

As a dedicated player, I truly enjoy the game and was excited to acquire the Paladin Series upgrade. However, I noticed that the included Paladin Weapon Effect does not currently support two of my Dark Gold weapons(Other spear-type weapons are compatible): Tangletongue Forked Spear and Sacred Flame Shrine Sceptre. This limitation has slightly impacted my gameplay experience, as I was looking forward to using the effect with these weapons.
I understand that compatibility issues can arise, but I was wondering if there are any plans to address this in a future update? If so, I'd be grateful for any estimated timeline or workaround in the meantime.
