A Casual Player's Honest Feedback on 0.2.0
|
I’m a casual player and I just started fighting the Uppers. Honestly, it feels very slow and not fun. This is my final feedback for version 0.2.0 (aka SSF Ruthless). Here are simple suggestions to fix the game quickly:
1.Buff Life significantly we need to reach at least 4000-5000 Life Points by mid-game, and even more towards the end-game. Add more Life scaling into the passive skill tree. GGG, Pointing the gun at your own head, you forget that there are always other choices! 2.Allow Support Gems to reach Level 20 naturally without constant nerfs. Please stop over-nerfing gems! 3.Introduce Unique Support Gems with no downside, but requiring very high attribute investment. Stop nerfing them too. If a player invests heavily into gear and attributes to become strong, it should not be considered "overpowered." 4.Vendors not refreshing until you level up? Please tell me this is a joke or an April Fool's. If you get stuck on your League Starter, you are forced to restart or farm endlessly and it’s just the campaign! Please fix this. 5.Add uncut skill gems to vendors with a low chance to appear. Unique Support Gems should not be available through vendors. 6.Either remove the dodge roll or improve it. Dying because we have no real options feels bad. 7.Add more movement skills like Dash, Frostblink, etc., earlier in the game. 8.Movement skills should Reverse Mana instead of costing spirit. Otherwise, only minion builds or players with top gears will benefit. 9.The passive skill tree feels terrible it forces you to pick either full offense or full defense. Defensive options must be buffed or made more accessible through gear. 10.Nobody enjoys being forced into Ruthless. Stop pushing new and casual players into heavy grindy modes. Look at the Steam reviews ("Mostly Negative"). Learn from it! Make Ruthless an optional mode (e.g., SSF Hardcore Ruthless), and offer real rewards like in-game points, skins, or even physical merchandise for those who enjoy the extra grindy challenges. 11.Increase movement speed slightly to make the game feel smoother. 12.Remove Slog and Tedious, add more fun! The campaign and early game need to feel rewarding and exciting, not like a chore. Best regards, A casual player who loves your game and wants it to succeed. Last bumped on Apr 26, 2025, 10:20:00 AM

What I'd like to see about unique support gems, is to make it so farming for them is not loot-based. So basically you can aim to get a particular one following some sort of recipe or steps. And also what I'd really like to see is a limit of let's say 3 unique support gems in total and only one per skill. Otherwise they would become way too imposing on the other gems. Well, the other way would be to make them have a drawback, but you don't seem to like that.
" It's "Mostly Negative (Recent)" but "Mostly Positive (All time)". So it's just people reacting to the latest patch. There really is no reason to take it personally and believe the devs want it to stay this way. " Movement Skills costing spirit is actually very bad for minion users since it means that if you get movement you get less minions and less minions is really bad for you. If you are not aiming to be a spirit super user, I think 60 spirit for a move skill is not that bad. You will get 100 spirit baseline from just beating 3 campaign bosses. I think the real problem right now is that the game design is very harsh and honestly hostile to Glass Canon builds, which are the ones that would benefit from using movement skills. |
