What evidence would that be though? You all are talking as if 0.1 was loot pinjata with divines raining everywhere. Played almost all through out 0.1 and drops were just as terrible as 0.2. A divine here and there, a perfect jeweler here and there. I've yet to see any palpable difference in drops. What i do see is there not being a considerable ammount of new things to do in 0.2. Besides the hunter and wisps what else is new? End game is the same with little less busy work. Wouldn't the fact that there's nothing new to do be the bigger issue why more people didn't come back? Or did come back and quit for example because they didn't like huntress after trying it?
This reminds me of something.

Back in "Lake of Kalandra" the top players (solo) AND, more importantly, the farming groups like Empy's reported that the loot is too low. Something was broken and or changed.
GGG aside for a second, a huge part of the community said "Nyo, the loot is as good as always because in 50 hours I got 1 div last league and after 50 hours 1 div this league yadda yadda".
Fast forward to the end of that event - GGG literally shadow nerfed loot, and the players/groups who reported these issues were right.

You can cope as much as you want, but do you remember the changes they made in 0.2 that affect loot? I do.

you continiusly and blindly ignore all overnefs was made for classes,skills, passives, sockets, mechanics, endgame loot, and only after that loot drop rate it's self.
You just ignoring fact that endgame for 0.1 was t4 pinnacle bosses because their loot was desireble. Now is only t18 maps is your real endgame. 0.1 uber late build could cost 2+ mirrors. For now spending more than 200 divines is pointless.

What exactly am I coping with? I said the loot is just as bad as it was 0.1 and that i believe there are bigger reasons that impacted the numbers.

That's related to changes for "stuff to do"? As in no new mechanics to invest your time in. What you were doing in 0.1, you're doing in 0.2 too with less busy work as far as towers are concerned. And i believe that has more weight on player retention.

They want us to play 3+ Button Builds but sometimes i cant even press 1 Button before i get jumped on or zerged by fast mobs. sometimes im circeling arount 2 Mobs just to try to get my combo done, this is beyond stupid and no fun at all.

Im now in at 80 hours playing T15 maps, irriadated and +1 and still i havend found a single divine. tho im doing all league mechanics i can find.

Endgame feels complete worthless. Just playing for nothing and asking myself, why am i doing this? Dont get new gear, dont get currency to buy new gear or buy stuff for a second char.

The only goals i reach is map completion.

And the evidence being? Anecdotal at best.You'll say this person said it, that person said it, these people said it, you feel it while i'm feeling no difference between 0.1 and 0.2 and it being just as bad. There are people on global who feel it's better because they got more exalts during the campaign. Hell, for the sake of the argument let's leave it at "you're right and i'm wrong". You come back to a new league for new stuff to do and in 0.2 there's really nothing new to do so loot isn't the primary offender of why 250k out of the 500k didn't come back.
