Wanna bet an exalt on it?
WTF is an exalt?
Another quality ZAP! post.
The ratio roller coaster on poeex is hilarious. 1:36 to 1:18 in one week.
I really wish people would stop using this as even reference because its just obvious manipulation from the shady RMT site that now owns it.

Some observations to note is that gcps are devaluing rapidly as expected. Chaos orbs are increasing in relative value because their use ratio and intrinsic worth is generally higher than most orbs mostly due to their importance for map progress.

I don't even know how the exalted inflation began other than RMT sites manipulating the market. Even now, I have 'used' maybe 5 exalts in all my time playing. I'm sure there are people crafting hard but that should only represent a small minority of players.

It did plummet. Check the site. It still shows 10 gcp for 1 exalt and 7 fusing for 1 gcp.

That should equal 70 fusing for 1 exalt. But its whack and shows 44 fusing for 1 exalt.

Earlier today it was higher.

Maybe plummeting was a bit of an exaggeration, but my point stands regarding the obvious inconsistencies.

Exilestats has been a bit off for a while now. When chaos tanked, the economy went crazy and when people moved to Exileex, they tried to vote based on the previous "other site"'s rates. Heck, if you checked a week ago or two weeks ago, the ratios were even sillier as the math never really added up. That's because the site is based on votes and the more often traded currencies were voted on more often than the higher currencies (mostly exalted) so that there were weird discrepancies like 4 chaos to the GCP, 8 GCP to the exalted, and 20 chaos to the exalted (a few weeks ago).

I don't think we should doubt the motives of Exileex just yet. It's just that the method that they have (voting to set prices) is a system that can be easily abused if one has enough people bombing the site with votes.
The price on exalts will not naturally decrease however it will inflate slower based on more currency dropping outside of maps with the Merc act3 buff. The main reason it is being made to look like it has decreased is probably tied into RMT and the real money pricing of exalts. If I had to guess I would say that people were not buying exalted orbs at a high enough rate so the RMT people had to try and force a price drop.
You see, there's three kinds of "there". There's "there", t-h-e-r-e: "There are the donuts." Then there's "their", t-h-e-i-r, which is the possessive: "It is their donut." Then finally, there's "they're", t-h-e-y-apostrophe-r-e. A contraction meaning: "They're... they're the donut people." Got it?

Lol don't worry kiddo. The words are all quoted. People can see what a nutter you are.

You're attempts to lie now won't change a thing, you were still wrong. Practice that reading comprehension and get back to me.

Now begone troll.
It's sad, you still have not tried to argue my point. Yet, you still try to imply i'm wrong to protect your sensitive ego. It's all in print, you can quote it all, why don't you show everybody something I said that's wrong?

Your main rebuttal was this:

Spoiler
You're an idiot. The OP was arguing prices were dropping. I said they weren't. Regardless of what some spreadsheet on a website said, they are going up.

And yes, some people read those websites, take them as gospel, and begin trying to buy/sell at said prices. You simply can't be so naive that you don't realize that. The aforementioned group are those I referred to as sheeple.

And yes, I've gone through my fair share of exalteds. I crowed with delight when for the first time I managed to snag 2 in 2 dock runs on my sporker. Before that I'd only found one per toon. Better than average luck? Maybe. 1000 hours? Lol. You got trolled.

Edit: the more I read your post the more I wonder how inexperienced you are. IIR has nothing to do with Orb drop rates. You are aware of that yes?

PS Edit: Now I've read your join date and assume you just needed to go back and re-read. My point is that exilestats was showing a ex was only worth something like 40 fusings earlier. And that despite that some sheeple hold those sites as gospel, the number there was ridiculous. Exalts sell for 60-75 fusing atm. Not 40, regardless of what exilestats and "TheSiteThatShallNotBeNamed" list.

I don't know if you're dumb, or what, but you didn't actually attack any of my points that i mentioned. Yet, called ME the idiot. I'm sure any other person reading our posts will see that you're confused. I suggest you just leave it where it's at or go back and reread to build an argument.

Regals and Exalts should drop often.

Exalted did drop in value, but only vs Chaos. I blow through Chaos on maps/ilvl 79's items like crazy. Chaos Orbs aren't extremely hard to come by, but they are the dream orb for people that have everything and want something to spam on items/maps. The problem is that GCP's are falling in value, because more people have 20% gems, more quality gems are coming in from HC, and most quality gems are worthless and being vendored for GCP's. Fusing(which is tied also to Alts/Jews) prices are falling, because crafting is a joke, and only fools are still trying to 6L shit. Exalted Orbs are going down, but you only see that when vsing Chaos. Personally, the only thing I sell
Spoiler
are Chaos, and a lot of people are probably doing the same.

Yup.

And GCP:Chaos is steadily trending back towards 1:3. Nobody will give you 4 anymore, and it takes a while to get 3.5

So people upthread saying Ex = 11 gcp = 44 chaos, nope, that's not how it works.

In other news...

WHAT THE FUCK ARE PEOPLE DOING EVEN MENTIONING POEX ANYMORE.

The problem with exalts is that nobody wants to sell them for "current" price. Everybody wants at least one GCP more than the current rate. As usually they will sell it for 1 gcp more. After buyers fail with "WTB exalt (current ratio)", they increase price by 1 gcp. So as sellers see "current" price has improved, they also want another +1 for it. Never ending story.
