Demon Form Ignoring Helmet Stats

Im using the unique helmet sandstorm visage chain tiara and I notice whenever I shapeshift into demonform enemies in my presence are no longer affected by the blinded status effect however Im still gaining other passive benefits such as the ES from the helmet.
