My feedback - save your sanity and quit this crap
Feedback for patch 0.2.0f.
I'm a frost sorcerer, now at level 80/endgame. 1. Performance: crashes did get a lot better it seems, but the microstutters are annoying as hell, even on 30ms servers. Sometimes they go away. Sometimes they kill you. 2. Loot: even though a lot of loot drops overall in maps, it's mostly worthless and never what you need. With 75-100% item rarity i never got a divine orb, only 1 greater jeweler orb and so on. If the game was designed to actually be doable with rarity gear, it would be fine. But it isn't. Not the maps that matter. And i'm not gonna waste time chasing the few rare monsters i can kill with rarity gear on while wasting the rest of the map. 3. Atlas map types Decay, Augury, Blooming field. Please FIRE THE M***N that designed these! There's so much clutter on the map that you cannot even see the mechanics that kill you, most of the time! And the areas are so constricted because of the impassable s**t all around that it really makes me avoid these maps as the plague. Unfortunately, sometimes you can't avoid them and you are forced to use low tier magic maps to even complete the map with some sanity left. 4. Certain monsters: Skeleton Archers, decrepit mercenaries, other archers, Caedron The Hyena Lord map boss. I've almost been 1-shot by a few of these several times now. And i have 43% reduction from armor and 76% all resistances. The boss also threw a spear at the same time as other centaurs and 1-shot me. Whoever designed these monsters really has no fking clue what to look for. Second place worst monsters - the fungus dudes; they spawn so much s**t and there are so many of them, that combined with the overall map design, it makes for a really really bad experience. 5. One of the main issues also related to no 4 above: micro stuns. No matter how much stun threshold i try to include in the build, it is useless. A rare monster with "stuns" affix, in Decay map, with minions that also stun, is extremely annoying for a mage. There are a few other monsters that use these microstuns, BUT THEY DONT CAST DOZENS OF S**TS EVERYWHERE that you're forced to avoid while also trying to kill the rare ONLY WITH SPELLS THAT FORCE YOU TO STAND STILL. Couple this with the fact that micro-stuns prevent you from dodging AND the dodge is NOT queued after the stun is over. Miserable experience. 6. Hyperinflation in standard league. It seems that the new league only brought an increase in prices for Standard. Awesome economy system GGG! 7. No real crafting options. Most crafting items are useless and the ones you need never drop. You need luck like in playing the lottery to get an item even close to what you need. Every currency item you need to even try is extremely rare or expensive. Couple that with point 6 above, and you have something almost unplayable. Luckily i managed to buy my items before this stupid price rise. Something similar to what i got usually costs 6-10 times more now or much worse (just an example: a 50ex item costs now around 2 divines, with similar stats and similar/worse values; something with better values costs even 10-100 divines). 8. Trials and some of the bosses. Extremely tedious encounters. Pray to not get Bahlak The Sky Seer with the energy shield modifier. Whoever designed this boss thought it's fun to make him UNTARGETABLE for most of the fight, especially when he turns into tornadoes every 10 seconds. Awesome balance GGG! Really awesome! For these reasons, i will stop playing this s**t now. My sanity is more important. When every new league is going to have a total f-up effect on the Standard league, i'm sorry, but my time is better spent elsewhere. Not being able to trade between leagues (even with some restrictions) doesn't seem to be the best decision. Sure, patches will come, but it seems cosmetics are more important than actual issues and endgame annoyances. Last bumped on Apr 22, 2025, 6:09:31 PM
