Trial of Sekhemas Feedback - Make Sanctum Great Again!

Running thousands since 0.1, i have some points that the dev team could find interesting to make it better.

1- Chests and Large Relics
As of now, chests that require keys to open are lacking good loot. I believe one way to make them better is to make them drop loot as if we would have 5 people in our party, and then remove any bonus they would get from party loot. Seriously, they feel much better when there are 5 people near you when opening the chest.

Not only this influences how we go through the trials, but also adds a good reason to use large relics (incense, coffers, vases) since they have the affixes to upgrade keys, duplicate keys, etc. The more avenues to build our relic set, the better.

and on top, maybe tweak a bit the spawn rate of rarer chest types? having more arcanist chests would be great.

2- Run-Ending Afflictions
I personally dislike the idea of removing ALL the player's armour/evasion/ES on a single affliction. Instead, i think a better way to handle it is adding a system like in POE1 where player defences interact with honour separatedly and the afflictions simply cut this honour interaction instead of removing directly from the player.

3- The Last Flame Incense Relic
I have a feeling the droprate of this relic have been reduced by over 50% this league... it is making it borderline impossible to consistently farm for it. Instead, i recommend returning it to the original value (i suppose it was 1/200) but make it only drop available on trials lvl80 (not lvl80 on last floor, i mean the djinn barya dropped to be a lvl80 minimum). This will remove entirely all "lucky drops" from people running lower level trials and prevent any from entering the market from people just going after their 4th ascendancy point.

4- Are skips good?
Last league there was a "bug" where we could go through locked doors by using frost wall and blinking through. while of course it was unitended, it surely helped cut time down on each trial by a lot, especially in gauntlet rooms. I personally like the idea of having something of the likes, especially because it has an opportunity cost of sacrificing skill slots for it. I already have to use Blink, Lightning Warp and Ball Lightning, which are 3 skill slots unavailable. Blink helps me get through traps and a few room layouts, and Lightning Warp + Ball Lightning can be used to skip many layouts from floor 1 and 4, maybe even more that i still am not aware. last league i had to use 4 slots to fit frost wall too so i could skip doors and it was HARD to make my build work with 4 less slots.


Any other suggestions are welcome in the replies. i always loved this mechanic since Sanctum league in POE1 and don't want it to lose its charm on POE2.

just read the patch notes and that's a win for me. hopefully we'll keep seeing more improvements to my favorite mechanic in the future
