Can’t believe the arrogance of them shutting down the office with the game on the decline for holidays - has nobody ever had to work during a holiday because their work was in a bad place?

" Dude ...come on...Easter and Christmas are THE holydays of the year. Outside the critical apparatus (healthcare, police, firefighters) nobody should be made to work those days. You think that them skipping on 3-4 days of work made that much of a difference? Should everyone bail on their families just so a vocal minority be pampered? Those ppl that can't comprehend the needs of others and who tend to put themselves first no matter what would be unhappy of the outcome no matter what. Even if all the staff would pull 20h a day and roll out patches upon patches that vocal minority would find reasons to bitch about in the new patches... Hundred of thousands bought the EA package yet only a few keyboard warriors are vocal and bash the game constantly unhappy of all that moves. I don't imply that all the ones positing on the forum are in the same category as many of them are giving genuine feedback in a mannered way. It’s business. Simple. People work through the holidays all the time - I’m sure their families will cope with the money they earn.
The fact is - they know the games in a bad way and it’s declining - they chose to take the holidays to be with their families. So they can deal with the fallout when they return. Also, where I’m from - people are allowed to voice their opinions, our laws allow it. It’s the type of behaviour I would expect from “big” developers - those that have moved beyond their fans but into corporate cash cows. Imagine releasing micro transactions when basic issues with servers still exist. They’ve no respect for peoples time, I think we’ll find the return rate of people will decline sharply this time around. Only so much goodwill can be retained |

It is actually funny how you ask them to "respect people time", but you don't respect theirs. Be such a good human being and have a little patience. It might be good for you as well. |
