Quite the opposite - streamers are usually the top players who set up build trends and farming strategies.
"Given the consistent growth in active streamers and the long lifespan of the platform, it's reasonable to estimate that the total number of unique individuals who have ever published game content on Twitch likely exceeds tens of millions."
-from LLM cursorily.
You can't be serious. When people say streamers they mean the most popular ones
I am serious. What metric are you deciding gives them expert status? do they click the mouse faster?

If you can't see how one can be good at this game you don't know the game to begin with.

I think it's bad streamers are using their platforms to try and change poe2 into what they want the game to be.
They are giving their audiences skewed expectations, and in turn, players are getting outraged.
They're essentially the leaders of a hate mob.
It's also a product of negativity bias.
-i.e. If it bleeds, it leads.

I'm asking YOU to define it. Which part makes them good, the ability to read, do basic math, or have a big-breasted cartoon avatar?

Every gamer can think for themselves, you're out of touch go back to bluesky.\
Hate mob... lol what a clown.

There is a difference between voicing your opinion constructively and just moaning for more. More loot, more dps, more speed.
What do you want them to do? Buff movement speed by 50%, loot by 100%, damage by what ... 150%?
These things require time to be properly tested and weighted before they are implemented, because they cannot take them away.
If they increase loot too much and the game turns into last epoch/d4, then sayonara - there is no going back with this community.
The "we can't buff something because if it's too good - we can't take it away" is a strawman they like to use too.
Take only "Affliction"... have you played it!? Have you seen how much loot, especially currency, was generated even by the "casuals"?
Seems like they had no issues "going back".
How is that strawman? Do you just use buzzwords just for the sake of it? What is the relation between loot and inflation, can you tell me?
I am pretty confident that the more Path of Exile (1 and 2) lean towards being a casual ARPG the faster it will lose audience. Very rare instances of players who try the new league (for both games) will stick to the game for a longer period and not just leave through the door after 2-3 days of playing.
At the eve of the end

So you dont think there is any element, whatsoever, of a culture that is derivative of streamer opinions. There is not even a noteworthy number of people who are essentially doing the bidding of their favorite streamers? People love to latch on to leaders and form their opinions like this. It's human nature.
Again. It's meaningless. If you think that the "culture" of ppl following streamers' views without making up their mind on their own is a problem, sure. But using it as an argument against negative feedback is nonsensical because the same argument works against positive feedback.
Short, thus all feedback becomes redundant/invalid as long as streamers exist.
Furthermore, "following leaders" is less of a "human nature" than "thinking" itself, especially if humans can choose whether they want to follow someone or not.
Furtherfurthermore, while you could describe streamers as leaders, they are technically "elected" by the viewers themselves.
To keep it simple, it's less likely for someone to watch a streamer if their "mindset/views" don't align in the first place.

I didn't do that. There are two camps. One with genuine feedback that is productive and resulting from their own experiences. Another who just repeat the popular opinions. Can you agree with this? Surely you have seen me posting my criticisms here as well. When somebody shows up and says "Everything about POE2 is bad lmao", it isn't hard for me to tell you which camp they are in.

I have played affliction, yes.
The discussion is about base loot, not specific league mechanics, which obviously go away and/or get heavily nerfed. Bit ironic that you're throwing strawmen around when you're the embodiment of one.
Guess what happens next? Something equally broken takes its place. What if it's not 'rewarding' enough? The league is instantly deemed shit and crying ensues.
If the design goal is to reduce the amount of loot, then they have to be careful about buffing now, because they CAN'T take it back. Get it?
