I mean, if bro actually enjoyed the game that much he'd probably be playing it right now instead of spending most of his sunday arguing pointlessly over the forums, but oh well, different strokes I guess.

This is probably some kind of fallacy. But I don't know which one. I should really learn that stuff.

No, I'm here, because I fear you might put some collaborative effort into destroying a game that I like behind my back, while I'm playing it, with your politics and fallacies. That's why I'm here and not playing, rn. Also words are fun, sometimes more fun than videogames.

It's a conspiracy bro.
As a matter of fact, believe it or not but we're actually doing it just to spite you personally, behind your back and all.
Jokes aside, eventually you should just stop and move on my man.

I knew it all along.
Ok, lets assume 1,000,000 copies sold.
850,000 of those played.
600,000 of those that played have quit.
Of the 280,000 that didn't immediately quit, 230,000 have quit 0.2

But sure, I guess the game is going well if we are measuring by troll standards.
You may now continue to spread whatever misinformation you want, I've better things to do than feed the trolls.

We all know the recent reviews are negative. Doesn't prove that 0.2 was a bad patch, neither does it prove 0.2 is responsible for the player decline that has been going on since before 0.2 was implemented, neither proves that your feedback and demands for the game will make it a better game, neither proves that the majority of players dislike 0.2.
And you can't prove the opposite either because it's only evidence and not proof.

Seems we are in a pickle then. But I'm not the one shouting "Do what I say or the game will fail if you don't. I have demands and you better make them become reality! This game is doomed and thus you need to abandon everything and make it more like I want it!", am I?
You are actually the one shouting "No, you are wrong", or "No, the game has not to change how you want it", or "I like it, if you don't - play something else" and so on.

I guess you become evil when you fight evil.

If you are evil - you fight for the bad thing, you know!?

I haven't played since day 3, I have more fun on forum than in game; just waiting what "buy time" league will come up for poe1 =)

The numbers are increasing from 60k for a couple to days to today which is 80k. You can see the rise in the past couple days on the steamchart.

The thing you fail to mention EVERY TIME you bring this up is that another game that was hyped. Its not uncommon for someone who likes ARPGs to play another game when it comes out.

But yes keep confirming your own bias and not understanding the data. Its fine its America. Believe what you wish.

Only time this happenned to me was on Fallout 76, and boy was it a bad game.
Probably not a great sign when players prefer to engage with the forums rather than with the actual game.

Even the forum is getting boring, the whiteknighting is asinine. When the game is good and has some flaws OK, but since 0.2 dropped out PoE2 regressed hard almost as bad as PoE 1 pre release.

Are we at three now? Will this be the third time I have had to explain the difference between peak daily active users and total active players?

300k people can play on two different days. One of those days could have 300k peak active players and the other could have 80k peak active players. Nobody has to "quit" to change the peak daily active numbers.

I've explained this absolutely basic concept to you personally at least twice before, and twice you've ignored it and continued to misrepresent the meaning of this data. At some point dude you need to understand that there's no reason for anyone to give anything you say a second thought when you make it so very clear that you have zero interest in an objective discussion.

I would think [Removed by Support] would maybe help out here given their commitment to "scientific analysis" and "empirical data" and etc. but nah they seem perfectly fine letting it slide as long as the BS supports the narrative that the game is failing.
