The problem is that PoE1 players got so used to being invincible that the first time they got punched in the mouth, they ran to the forums calling it “bad design.”

PoE2 isn’t for everyone. But it’s not “doomed” because it doesn’t cater to people who confuse effortless dominance with depth.

There is no "Secret Vision", no game design, no fun, no difficulty involved.

The game is not souls like, neither it is difficult, it does not have any build variety or complexity, most closely it resembles a daily chore, a grind to play generic korean MMO, with p2w store.

Instead of p2w store you got RMT, unchecked, uncontrolled, and dominating the entire player market of currency.
Instead of crafting you have a national lotto and dupes.

Instead of fun and challenging gameplay, you have tedious boring slog with about half of the time spent managing tiny inventory space, and other half visiting trade website and loading around other people hideouts to trade items.

I had positive review after 0.1, despite countless bad things in the game, and I changed for negative in 0.2.

I genuinely think PoE 2 now is worse than Diablo IV, and for sure is worse than Last Epoch.
Its sad to read all this feedback.

I do agree with much of what its said here. But still I do not think the game is that bad either.

However I dnt have time or I dnt wanna do the effort to point out where I agree or disagree with u.

So lets say, The game need to improve a lot. And leave that to GGG to figure out how.

Yes cause another game just launched and just like every video game to ever exist, players who play that genre will start to play that one.

Also, 78k is a lot of people. POE 1 even at its peak was barely pushing 90k on average for long runs. The average player base for POE 1 was about 70-90k...so I don't know what your trying to achieve by saying this or using this as evidence that the game is bad. By your very own metrics...POE 1 is trash and a dead game. Which we both know is not true.

poe2 has one thing better than poe1. and thats the graphics.

many couldn't stand poe1 'ancient' graphics.

gameplay is objectively worse.
