Decrease Jamanra sandstorm damage in phase 1
In the first phase of the Jamanra fight, the sandstorm does way too much damage.
It's not an issue for many classes however, some skills naturally teleport your character. Like rend or Ice Strike. When the zombies enter the zone, I will teleport around, outside of the Sekhemas shield, and rapidly die. I lost a Smith of Kitava rend Character that has high damage reduction and life and still died when I teleported outside the protective barrier and before I could run back in I understand the intent of the phase but why not make Jamanra untargetable and reduce the damage of the sandstorm? Dying due to a skill teleporting you is very lame. https://www.xbox.com/play/media/W85WJAjWdx In the replay there is certainly a skill gap, I'll acknowledge, but you can also see the disparity in damage Jamanra does vs the sandstorm. EDIT:
I apologize for my quick judgement. I watched your video. This might be a targeting issue with controllers specifically? I think this is good feedback for controllers, namely the targetting system. I still don't think they should change the boss fight; instead the could default targeting to the ads during this phase if there is ambiguity in the targeting system for controllers? disagree with this suggestion. You can use the skill while in place by clicking a checkbox on the skill box in the "more info" panel. But this is not ideal because probably we'd want to dash with ice strike when we want it to. You could pause game during the phase by opening the passive tree, then going to the skill tab and manually changing it purely during that phase. But this is time consuming and breaks the immersion of the game. Instead, you can bind a modifier that when held, will attack in place for all skills (e.g. you can set this to control or shift). This is ideal because now the control is purely within your power. But if you don't want to do that then I think you can hold ice strike while aiming directly over yourself. This shouldn't move you? I am not sure if this works? Alternatively, you can simply hold off on using ice strike until the enemies come into the shelter. You can also drop bell in the bubble and ice strike it. You can use another skill... There are so many options for you to do. Blindly holding ice strike is not a viable option and that is fair design by the game imo.
