Ascendancy Trials can have keys OR zero lives, not both.

Trials were my least favorite part of PoE2 at launch and they're still my least favorite part.

I just want my last two ascendancy points. I don't want to spend hours between attempts farming enough keys to learn the fights either.

If you want me to start the trial over when dead, then they key requirement needs to go.
If you want to have keys, then each key needs to be usable 3-6 times, that way I can try each boss multiple times per attempt.

Maps have multiple portals now. Atlas Pinnacle bosses have multiple lives now. Why are trials still only a single life? Do something about this please.

"Just trade for more keys!" Yeah no thanks. Maybe if trade wasn't a complete pain. I'm not going to spend 10-20 minutes whispering and waiting for people to reply because keys aren't a valuable item.

If you're worried about the loot economy then make a reusable key that drops no loot.

I find they drop quite often whilst you do maps/waystones

Took me 3 tries against Trialmaster when I started off, so the extra time lost gathering the fragments were an extra bother but I went away to map for upgrades then came back with better gear.

Whilst farming maps for upgrades I found plenty more keys, so the keys wasn't a big issue for me.

Would be nice for each key to have multiple attempts but personally I think it's not needed
Not to mention how punished you are for playing an off-meta build. Sekhemas 4th trial feels completely impossible on my thorns warrior build. Why is honor resist capped at 75%? Why does honor even exist at all, still? Why does armor feel completely worthless at a certain level, especially up against honor? I have multiple "increased defense by x%" relics equipped, but they made it scale funny so it is misleading and doesn't actually provide as much as you assume it does, so when I hit that 4th floor, I can get nuked pretty easily (roughly around 80% armor in combat). All my resistances are capped + max capped, roughly around 85% and yet the fire enemies in a 4th trial are still cooking my character. I genuinely don't understand the mindset from the devs for any of these decisions or calculations. I feel way squishier than I should be with the stats I have. The bosses don't really feel like they do as much damage is regular mobs or rares, which is baffling. I'm tired of this "vision".
