Rune crafting feedback

Hi, I'd like to provide a feedback to the rune crafting and also suggest possible solution.

There is not enough rune drops during the campaing and the rune type you get is dictated by the RNG. That does not make rune crafting a reliable solution to the player's current struggles. Later in the game, rune drops become somewhat redundant and merely clutter the drop pool.

A possible solution is to make runes sellable by the NPC vendor, with higher tiers becoming available for purchase based on character progression.

The solution is POE1, where the crafting bench was a crafting bench instead of idiotic RNG Rune drops that hamper your ability to solve gearing issues early on and dilute the drop pool with useless crap later in the game.

This seems obviously true. I dont have any faith that those defining the vision for the game understand how crafting is supposed to work or that it's utterly and absolutely required if you're not going to have other currency sinks. How this game because a lucky-drop-and-trade game beats me - this management team should know better and certainly doesnt.
If the runes become availabe only for purchase from the NPC vedor, none of the problems you're so passionate about will exist.

I don't think the actual bench is so desperately needed. But I kind of get your sentiment. It doesn't replace proper crafting system. So far we only have plenty of gambling options.
