Impending Doom - Fix Please

Right now impending doom is a shadow of what it once was, a favorite of mine that wasent played by many but was so fun and end game content clear in POE 1. Poe 2 has made it a support gem that scales only on mana, and even nerfed the best shield that give the large mana needed for it to be a strong enough skill. At this point u have to use a hybrid with other skills like lightning conduit just to make it even have close to enough dps. I guess im asking and hoping impending doom can be reworked into its own skill gem, giving it its own damage scale that isint as bad as it is now, or maybe a massive buff of the skill from 15% of current mana to atleast 50% current mana or even 40% of max mana. This is if you wish to just increase its output and not change them gem otherwise. Give the skill her justice. She went amazing damage to impossible to run through cruel campaign bosses and even some clearing damage with currency to keep buying new gear to scale. Its dead. I hope to see its return :)
