Allow deletion of forum posts option.

I made a post recently, then found the solution so, my post was no longer accurate or needed, so why can’t I delete my own post that is useless and wasting peoples time by reading what is false? The only options are edit etc. please add a delete option to your own posts ( obviously not for people to delete someone else’s posts) on the forums. Please consider this option.kindest regards.
