Played for 3d, 14h, 34m SSF


Played a Lich with the eternal life centered builds, great sustainability, suffered on bosses in campaign, got very bad drops in my campaign run, but it picked up when maps started and I got lucky. Ran a pure ES Contagion build, with Sigil of power on second set, and applying despair. doesn't feel strong, it feels like the RIGHT power up to the very end game, where it stops scaling and depends on some VERY specific affixes for it to squeeze a little more dps, I feel the build lacks better SETUP for bosses, but maybe if new DoT effects are added alongside ES, then bossing will become better.
When I reached maps STILL USING a lvl 26 wand because it had +2 to chaos, chaos damage, spell damage I blasted all the way to maps 10, which then I slowed down, to get some items, I got an AMAZING lucky drop, round t11 which was a +4 Chaos, MORE Chaos Damage and MORE spell damage with Skill Speed, that still carries my to this day.
Itemization for this Build REALLY relies on my focus having +x to all spells (which I never got) and +x to chaos on wand, this is NECESSARY to push end game, and TONS of +x% to chaos damage, without those damage feels bad, overall the survival with the draining of mobs Life, being slower than BLOWING then with another skill really works with the sustainability of the lich ascendancy and build
Please make us be able to affix a modifier from an UNIQUE to the same slot, or I will only Run Atziri's Disdain FOREVER with lich.
I never got a lvl 20 Gem, which is by FAR the best way to increase my damage, by increasing the skill level. this was my final frontier for skill gems. now you would say I can CORRUPT them right? but I got VERY lucky on my run and got a SINGLE Perfect Jeweler's orb, on a lower tier map (t10 I believe), and that was it, until the day I beat Arbiter, which AFTER beating Arbiter i got my FIRST Great Jeweler's Orb drop.
I was running t15 maps for 5 days now, and JUST then I got my first Greater Jeweler's, all my other skills are a 4link, Not a single 5 and 1 6link, because I got lucky, my friends that plays with me, has not seen either, so he is on 4links still, something must've happened with this drop rate from 0.1 to 0.2, please investigate this, or better REWORK, the orbs are dead after, make it scale with the Skill gem level, mot be a currency, what should be part of a LINEAR progression on your character becomes a random element which is VERY detrimental.
Now about my feedback on Mechanics, and Mapping

Let's go by mechanic:

Breach
Feels bad currently at most maps, specially maps with clutter and small rooms and corridors, not enough mobs, you can't really keep the breach going since mobs are not spawning and hands also barely spawn to keep, in the bad maps you can walk out with as little as 3 splinters
Check Savannah, the BEST map for a breach, it feels amazing, make any other map 50% of what savannah feels with breach, and it will always be good.
Drops for catalyst feel reduced, I barely got 20 catalyst TOTAL counting all mine, by the time I got the Breachstone
It feels like if 2 mobs try to SPAWN in the same place, the system just doesn't spawn any, because both will conflict and you end with a very low mob density.
Breachstone
Still feels good, the breachstone map and the boss are one of the best currently

Ritual
Ritual actually feels good right now, I've managed to find 3 Rituals with the king, having omens on all rituals made me experience then more and make crafting ever so SLIGHTLY better
Having a rogue exile on a Ritual is the best feeling so much drops
overall Ritual is good and rewarding, if the items are just slightly better itemized Rituals will benefit a lot from it
Audience with the King
Direct, fun, rewarding. not my favorite boss, but that comes down to preference, with ingenuity nerfed I looked forward to the other drops (but I got 2 Ingenuity's), make it drop 3-5 omens

Delirium
It's actually good to do delirium maps right now, much more splinters drop (I actually got my first Simulacrum before I got my Breachstone)
Instilled maps are AWFUL, they it feels like I just increased the monster health pool and resilience for nothing, no rewards, I got 3 Splinters overall from running instilled map
Felt that the unique monster rate in the delirium was reduced, I took a LONG time to find one, and on my overall playtime I found 2
Simulacrum
Pick any of the non busted builds right now, and go do it, experience it, and see how bad it feels, I'm running a Lich with Atziri's Disdain, I have 26% damage reduction from my combo, MAX resistances (76% elementals and 30% chaos) 9k ES, and it does nothing if the layout makes me get CONSTANTLY swarmed, I'm VERY tanky, but I can't win against a HUGE swarm.
Make the Delirium buff to mobs WAY lower, they're the most tanky mobs I've seen in the WHOLE GAME the boss from the waves took longer to kill than my ARBITER kill, that is insane, the distilled essences that dropped were a joke I got better ones doing t15 and t16 delirium maps.
Add a real boss to this, don't use corridors as areas of engagement for this mechanic.
Make based on current values? make delirium go to 50% max on t0 and 100% on t5

Expedition
They feel good to do, it's a fun mechanic to interact. The currency of each order also feel fun to use on the shop and try to get items, it's interesting just needs some fine tuning from itemization and please allow me to select which affix to interact sometimes
Recombinator
You could've been GREAT, but god this is BAD.
Cost is TOO STEEP, over 20 of the currency just to TRY, fail? lose all the currency and BOTH items
if cost scaled of the % it would be kinda justifiable, but it doesn't.
it's the best way to start and try to build items, but since the chances to recombine are not based of the AMOUNT of affixes you select but of their TIER, this does not work
Make the cost and Chance based on the amount of Affixes you're trying to combine, this way we can have SOME sort of decent deterministic chance to craft some items, I don't care about losing the items, sure happens, but I only see myself using it on 2 items that are in my stash never on anything I'm wearing, it could be a GREAT chase but it's currently wasted and not worth
Logbook
Make the boss chance increase with each Logbook you do, or make logbook drops SLIGHTLY more common, 20% of a logbook, is an RNG to try and get a boss.
Boss fight is awesome, one of the best pinnacles currently

Maps Mechanics:

Corruption
Please add back the level increase with this mechanic, I felt it was nerfed, much harder to get higher tier maps to do this now.
Liked the reworked for the area, really feels like cleansing corruption.
I don't get what is my benefit to running corruption maps, instead of cleansed, I would normally just run into the Nexus to clear and get my points
overall interesting rework mechanically but outside of that it's not doing anything else for me, a couple more rares? sure but the loot itemization is bad, so I really just want to get over with it and run cleansed maps

Cleansed
The counterpart to the corruption, getting some benefits definitely felt cool and fresh, increased rarity, new monsters better drop rate for currency of some monsters.
Much better than corruption, which brings the question, WHY would I run corrupted maps if cleansed ones are JUST better?
Great mechanic to increase atlas points, but right the way map sustainability and progression works, I've ben running T15 maps for a long time, and the quest still says to do a Tier 9+ map to get my points, the pacing needs to be adjusted.

Radiated
It's OK, great to push on higher maps but, why is it a precursor tablet? make it a reward for running 11+ Juiced maps on the towers, instead of a tablet, when you're doing low level maps, you only use the this precursor tablet, because it's the only thing you have, not because you want it.

Boss
Still pretty good, was a great addition and plays well now that it's the objective of the maps when it's there. not much comments here, maybe make the tablet add more bosses in the area, 8-10 base instead of the current 3-4, we want to interact with this

Breach, Delirium, Expedition, Rituals
As tablets and mechanics added on the maps, they're what we look forward. Feel good to add to a bunch a maps and then look forwards to run them. number of added maps is also good.

Unique Maps
They're very fun, great to break pace from running all those, but they're few and far between, for being what we WANT to run most and try to focus sometimes.
Lake looks great and feels unique, reward at the end is very bad due to current itemization, just a random ring which if comes with bad affixes there's nothing I can do, don't make it EXCLUSIVE to the map, make the map interact with it in some form, a way to add a specific affix to a ring or ammy? Determinism is one of the best rewards we can get currently in the game
Vault are just a bunch of random chests, with a bigger chest and a guaranteed unique at the end. Loot fest, my eyes see a BUNCH of items to disenchant, but that is because loot is bad currently.
Boss Gauntlet, THIS IS GREAT, this is fun, rewarding with RUNES, graphically gorgeous. I've found one, but whenever I saw a UNIQUE map appear anywhere i always checked to see if it was this one.
Ventor's Hideout (vendor dude), if uniques are bad this guy is bad, makegood uniques this guy is the best.

Strongboxes
Much better than patch 0.1, I look forward to those Strongboxes, I want to interact with then, HOWEVER, I want the unique ones. the base, magic and rare ones are worthless to me, just a monster spawn fest.
I remember on 0.1 that they could have an affix of a GUARANTEED unique, which the community thought it was bugged since they never dropped, I wanted to see that affix again, but it looks like it was removed
Uniqe Strongboxes are where it's at.
Ventors Contraption
Hell yeah let me waste all my money gambling with DECENT rewards, sadly i only found 1 my whole playthrough.
Ogham Leggacy
Yeah, this is interesting. A lot of loot, with increasing rarity since it gets more affixes by each respawn? Hell yeah.
Ixchel's Torment
A miss, but that is because of CORRUPTED items dropping being bad make corrupted items that are DROPPED better and this box is much better
The rain Festival Beetle.
This one is just good, I want JEWELS this gives me jewels.

Last but not least, lets talk about items and affix rolling, currently they're awful. my lvl 78 item rolling LIGHT RADIUS, are you kidding me? I already have little to no control over the affixes I get when I use my currency on the items, but i can get the WORST affixes ever as well?, I have barely any agency on crafting my item, and the ways I can control are either worthless due to cost (Recombinator) or outright streamlined (runes), Essences are a cool way for me to try and get what I want, but it's all down to luck of which essence you get, I'm a ES Contagion Lich, I NEED ruin essence, and I saw 2 my whole playthrough, my only greater essence was a Battle one. which reminds me I never saw that Essence Unique map. but unless 0.02g is AMAZING patch I won't be back for it.
Make the mechanics of the game give us some AGENCY to build our items, and limit the power of the affix by the level of the mechanic we're doing, right now it only feels like each mechanic that can interact with an items is just a new GACHA. I play 3 gacha games, I don't want my loot based ARPG to have ganha loot all the time, without giving me some agency, HELL on my ganha games I have more Agency on my relic/items rolls than this game.

Concluding for this patch, I feel that lich was a great addition, the power feels just right for mapping, and slightly under for bossing, current items progression is very bad, SPECIALLY for SSF, and don't say for me to go to Trade and interact with that archaic piece of a system full of scammers, I actually want to use my currency, not trade with it.
Strongboxes changes were a net positive, alongside base delirium and rituals. Breach felt too gutted, some fun unique maps, the rest was just beautiful to look, but another map to run.
XP loss on death, is incredible bad at higher levels (lvl 91 currently), I love getting's levels seeing my bar grow and DING. but losing XP on death made me stop buttering and looking at lvl 100 as just a boring goal, since XP scales RIDICULOUSLY at the end, I don't think I will ever go for with the current game. when I want my DEATH to matter I got to Hardcore, remove XP loss on death.
GGG you have a great game to work with, I can see the passion on this and the vision (which we have a lot of disagreements), I want to see this become the greatest ARPG, but we're long ways to go, lots of work to be done.
