Convalescence causing health recovery to stop

Maybe this is intended and I'm completely blind/misreading something but whenever I use convalescence, my health regen and recovery from health flasks stops working entirely. I can use my flasks, they are consumed, but no health is recovered. Even relogging seemed to not help, it would only fix once dying, until the skill was used once again.

I'm having the same issue. Once I use convelescence the first time in a map, I can't heal using flasks.
