I will read these posts until the day I die and never begin to understand them. Just post after post of people who apparently are more than happy to spend 400, 600, 800, 1200 hours running the same small handful of maps over and over again but will turn around and act like it's a sin against the most holy upon high that the campaign takes a couple more hours than they expected. It's absolute lunacy for everyone but for a so-called "casual video game lover" it's super nonsense.
Like what difference does it make to you whether you're in the campaign or not dude? It's the same game. How is the campaign more "brutal" than T1 maps, or T3, or T5, or T7, or T9? The only practical difference between campaign gameplay and endgame gameplay is the quality of loot and access to pinnacle bosses and a "casual video game lover" frankly has no reason to make that distinction.
So much THIS. There is a lot of valid criticism regarding PoE 2, but the campaign is definitely not it. Well, apart from the fact that you currently have to do acts 1 - 3 twice per character, but that's going to change eventually.

And sure, I could make the comparison "the campaign is an appetiser", but right now, it's less of an appetiser; instead, it's like vegetables you have to eat before you are allowed to enjoy your dessert.
Such a weird analogy to lean on. Like yeah man the only ones who can't buckle down and finish their vegetables before dessert are impatient children. And then they look back with regret later in life when they realize what they were missing because broccoli and cauliflower and cabbage and Brussel sprouts and spinach are all absolutely f'ing amazing when prepared properly and most desserts are generally just gross piles of sugary slop in comparison.

Dude... it's not that hard to understand.
You HAVE to eat something because mommy (GGG) says so.
I don't like desserts either, but an analogy does not reflect my personal preference; it only depicts something in another way.

they don`t respect our time by design, it`s not a flaw. they want to sell Microtransactions to us, although at this point it`s more of like Macrotransactions. they are testing out how tedious and slow the game can be to retain maximum whale retention. they will raise drops in tiny increments until they reach peak milking position.

The campaign could do with some tight editing. Not shortening maps, but removing entire sections, like Jiquani's machinarium and the second stages of the three maps in act 2
The only act that feels well paced is act 1
At the moment it's the equivalent of a three and a half hour batman movie, indulging the director at the expense of the viewer

Even in 0.1.0 I only defended things that were defendable.
Nonsense like "95% of the player base left because of EXP loss" is still something I would argue against, BUT you are somewhat right.
GGG not improving anything they actually should, after tons of feedback, is nothing I can and/or will defend.
I'm sorry to hear that. But maybe it's time for you to take a break. I enjoy the game honestly and don't care much about patch - I just play what I want and always find something to work with. So see you in 0.3 I suppose.
I already quit days ago. And it's the first time ever in many years that I say it, but I won't come back to "0.3.0" unless GGG delivers something better than "0.1.0".
Not better than "0.2.0" because "0.1.0" was the "bare minimum" I expected to get improved, so just going back to the bare minimum won't make it.
Make it better than "0.1.0", or I won't come back.
Same here. Quit 3 days ago and check the forum daily for new updates in hopes that they bring back all the endgame (loot, pinnacle drop items, jewels, builds, variety) 0.1 had and improve on it. I also really dont like the corrupted nexus RNG spawns as well as citadels not being shown at all times in the fog so you know where to go. I see 0 reasoning behind this. Additionally, the +1 monster level modifier is now only on a very tiny fraction of corrupted/cleansed maps, making it near impossible to create T18 maps which in turn slows down leveling and loot past 90 even more for absolutely no freaking reason.
0.2.0F definitely did not address anything meaningful for me, just some very small "nice to have" changes but none of the core issues with especially the endgame. Still hoping for changes...

Bottom line, campaign has no rewards in it, no loot. Most people playing arpg's here are here for big damage and fat loots. So ye ye keep runnin act123 till the day you die broski.

I feel you there, I was into the speed run events and I don't even see this possible to support at this time. GGG is going to learn to make games for the players, not themselves. Squaresoft almost lost everything when FFXIV vanilla released because they literally stripped out anything that made it Ff. Blizzard did that with D3 and paid the price. D4 is a somewhat decent comeback for them and it literally does feel like a true sequel to D2 atm.
I get GGG wanted a Ruthless version, but if that's the case make it a mode. A whole game devoted to this is insane and forcing veterans and newbies to do this is insane. I get people had issues with PoE,it seemed huge after playing it at first, but now you're making everyone grind for what? Frustration and mental exhaustion? I'm good on that, I already work a full-time job. Easy pass.

Campaign is brutal. Good in terms of story, but damn, to restart that EVERY league. Yes checkpoints were added, a little smaller, but still. 12-20 hours to do, more in 0.2 your first time. HELL NO.

I played 400 hours in the first month of 0.1 and found 3 Divines only
First of all, am I to understand that a "casual video game lover" played 100 hours a week in the first month of 0.1?
Casual?
100 hours a week?
And anyway, this just straight up didn't happen. You may have been online for 400 hours but you were absolutely not actively playing if you only found 3 divs.
"
Endgame- enough has been said on that, it is no where near enough and boring as all hell. No loot drops, so what is the point?
I would think as a casual lover of video games the point would be the casual video gaming.

So many bots trying to price fix
Humans price fix. Bots will sell you the item they listed for the price they listed it for because that's what bots do.
"
Soul Cores, Runes, Expedition Need Tabs
They added that last night big guy.
Thank you for fighting all this non-sense my good Sir.

The term "price fixing" is not used for players who list an item, get whispered and think "Ayyy, let's relist the item for more instead of selling it now.".
If someone is referring to "price fixing", they talk about the manipulation of the economy where the value of an item "undercuts" the realistic market value, to make it appear "less valuable".
And this - is mostly done with bots.
The item "Wet Noodle" is normally worth "5 Divines", but "price fixers" list many "Wet Noodles" for something way below "5 Divines", so many of the "Wet Noodles" in the trade search end up with a presented lower value.
Then, if someone who does not know the actual/realistic market value of an item wants to sell his "Wet Noodle", he uses the listed items as reference.
SO, he lowballs himself, then the price fixer buys the item out and resells it for the actual market value - profit.
