Support Gems Dissappear on 'Infuse Weapon' [Amazon] if Respec out of 'Elemental Infusion'

Good evening,

I noticed if you have support gems on skill 'Infuse Weapon' in skill panel and respec out of 'Elemental Infusion' on your passive tree (Amazon) - the support gems disappear. They don't go to stash or character inventory.

I'm not sure if this is intended or a bug. If intended, may need some sort of dialog box or prompt asking to confirm or give warning that we are going to lose the attached support gems. Lost a few support gems this way.

This just happened to me when I respec and removed Infuse weapon. Any resolution or update on how to retrieve the support gems?
