Supports Gems: Barbs and Quill Burst Deal Base damage instead of actual damage

Hello, after testing, Barbs and Quill Burst deal base thorn damage and not actual thorns damage.

Maybe it is intended

suggestion 1 :
correct the description on the support gem - easy fix

suggestion 2 : (the GGG way)

Fix it that it deal the actual thorns damage and match the support gem description.

It also seem there is issue with interraction with passive tree and support gem, if i can spare time il come with testing and metric to help clear it.


Side note thank you for all the ninja fix you did ( Prayers for Rain ) and other.

Its sad people are picking on the team, showcasing what is not going and occulting all the good work you did.

Last note: did see in the patch notes that you AGAIN embellished the game and uped the visual, i did a stream pointing all these beautifull changes!

How did you test that Barbs is Base thorns damage and such?

Exaclty, it was easy to test early on:

Get lowest amount of thorns, have an armour with increased thorn damage implicit same for the shield that mean roughly 100% increased damage. no crits

Get to a boss, let it hit you, and look at the damage.

Now use your skills with barbs and quill to deliver thorns, you do less damage than the thorns without the skills. so that 100% increased damage only contribute to "pure thorn damage".
