The MASSIVE brick wall that is ACT 3

Right now as the game stands, by the end of act 3 im typically still wearing blue rings and amulet, maybe even a blue piece of gear, my rare pieces of gear have 3-4 modifiers on them.
But the issue is, the game is balanced as of right now, where you almost need to be in a full set of 6 modifier rare gear. Obviously not all 6 modifiers will apply to my character or build, but 4 of the 6? yeah probably. We are not getting enough gear drops or currency, mainly in the exalted department. If you dont want me to be in a full set of 6 modifier gear at level 36, then why are the monsters balanced for full sets of 6 modifier gear?? Monsters are faster than me, they hit harder, they are tankier, all of which I am ok with, but god damn give me some hope! let me play path of exile --In conclusion I think the lack of gear is whats making the campaign so damn hard, drops werent this difficult in standard league and I remember having yellow rings and amulets by act 2, now im in blue jewelry till level 50 AND REMEMBER.... " Uh no, you want high quality mods, not "4 of 6" barely relevant mods. By Act 3, that'd mean T5 mods or at least T4. A blue item with one extremely relevant T5 mod beats a yellow item with mostly mediocre mods. Now at least for getting past Act 3, the vendors will stock the occasional T5 mod. So long as you look each time you level. Hold Alt while looking at an item to see the tiers of its mods. "They're balanced for using multiple skills. Monsters can be mass slowed. They don't hit if you walk away as they attack. That's gear independent. |

Loot good balance bad perhaps? Jonathan did say that during the interview. I don't think there is anything fundamentally wrong with having a mix of blues and yellows - makes the good drops more rewarding - but monsters need to be balanced around it.

Completed my second play through this league.
Hopefully they touch Utzal mobs they are a bit Usain Bolt and just dont care. If you dodge away they smoke cloud teleport onto you. Or dash with some teleport ability its actually kind of funny to watch lol Mash the clean

I went back to act 2 at level 50 to check vendors for loot. drops are bad.
