PoE 2 Causing BSOD / Black Screen PC Restarts

I just had a BSOD when launching POE 2

Been having BSOD since the launch of dawn of the hunt

No solutions yet?

GGG close eyes on this problem before E.A
on poe1 and EA poe2

they just closed 2 550 page + forum just before free weekend

just to resume, the game is bad opti
begin ea we used POE uncrasher to not use all cpu core... a joke...
they added log but when BSOD log are not write on hdd/sdd
they just adding lot of features even if lots of ppl lag freeze and crash even hard crash

only steam bad review seems to have a little little effect of GGG

if u have crash just show it on steam review plz

they ask to send dxdiag so just add dxdiag to them plz :) maybe a day if lot of ppl send, they will taks this seriously

at least the game is really great... but can't play

GGG watch your forums plz :) with this 3 days test there is A LOT of ppl still crashing

will u continue to ignore us?(and closing topics about crashing?)

edit: after the 3 days open beta they hear us, so its usefull ! maybe a optimize game one day :/

Thank you for this. I thought I lost my SSD due to read/write limit, but what you're describing is my exact order of events. The game BSODs more and more often until something goes wrong with the file directory/permissions in Windows and then absolutely nothing can be done but a complete reinstall of Windows.

I had no issues in .1.
In .2 I started having crashes.
In .3, I get BSOD every time I launch the game now. I'll get to walk maybe 5 steps, and as soon as my minions start doing something I'll either get the
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, MEMORY MANAGEMENT, PAGE FAULT, or 3 other variations of a BSOD. All of them seem to be linking to this "nvlddmkm.sys" which appears to be some sort of NVIDIA related thing. I have completely uninstalled, and reinstalled all NVIDIA related items, done an SFC scannow, and turned off everything that isn't required to run the game. I can't find a solution for this, and the game forces you to be on 581 drivers so I can't see if the well known good 576.88 drivers will work.

The game is unplayable in its current state, and they won't do anything about it until they notice a huge drop in player base, or the forum explodes with the problem... in which case they will delete the thread, and let everyone in the thread call you an idiot.. a good example of this would be the Astramentis scam thread from .1 where they could sell a fake astramentis. Had the same icon, and stats, but once traded would turn into a different variation of the amulet worth 1-3 exalted.

I can launch, and play ANY other game on the market without a hiccup. I've ran MEMTEST, I've checked system files, game files, and tried to update drivers. I'm fully convinced this is a POE specific problem, and it's something to do with their game trying to access levels of security it's not allowed to do according to the BSOD.

Audio stutter, then blackscreen. PC freezes and not responding to any commands. In one case PC automatically restarted and loaded my BIOS instead of OS. Had to turn it off fully.

RTX3070
SSD (don't know the model)
24GB of RAM.
