Hard crashing

I am experiencing consistent hard crashes when teleporting back to town. The game crashes and closes completely. Additionally, I am also encountering crashes when attempting to load into the game from the character select screen.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far to resolve the issue:

Switched between high, medium, and low graphics settings with no change.

Validated the game installation through Steam, which reported no issues.

Ensured both graphics drivers and Windows are fully updated.

Tried using the "one less CPU core" workaround with no success.

Launched with the following Steam options: --noasync, --nologo, and --waitforpreload, but the issue persists.

Uninstalled and reinstalled the game with no resolution.

System Specs:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K @ 3.60 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
RAM: 32 GB
Storage: Plenty of free space on SSD
OS: Windows 11 Pro

After troubleshooting all these steps, I am now unable to get past the character select screen.

Following. My huntress character isn't able to load in at all when I fire up the game. I did try loading in standard characters and those loaded in without issue. I get the feeling it's something on the server side possibly? I am at the Caravan hub at Act 2 if that helps at all.

I get a complete game crash when trying to load the caravan with my huntress.

Come to think of it, I think I am at the same spot in the game. Got a screen shot when I crashed. Red line is about where the game crashed.

Literally just posted about this happening to me. I’m on PlayStation and my Huntress can’t log in at all

Edit:

Swapped to California from Texas and it crashed. Switched back to Texas and I am back online…

Just made a new Char' I am able to play without any issues. It's got to be the Act 2 thing.

Getting the same thing when entering Caravan on warrior. Tried messing with numerous settings. Nothing seems to work. I am able to get into other parts without any trouble.

I was able to get it to load once in Act 2. Started Dreadnaught, cleared first section but when I went back to town it crashed.

EDIT:

Switched from Texas server to Washington DC and it did not crash.

switching to California server works

Can confirm switching from Texas to DC is working. Strange.
