What happens if Last Epoch Steals half of the remaining players this patch ?
best thing about poe 2 is its seperating a weird playerbase, that crashed into this community, never listening to any arguments, just claiming they are right in everything they say, whining and complaining until at the very end we say: thanx god its over they are gone where they came from good bye.

I uninstalled the game last night and now awaiting the 17th.
This game is a damn joke. Dodge roll is useless. Passive Tree not showing info. Mobs running 1500 percent faster than you. One mob hits you once, you are stunned/staggered, here come all the rest of the 50 mobs and you're dead. Expeditions and the mobs just throw out absolutely way too many ground effects and half them you can't see and they all one shot you. Campaign slow and boring with low to no loot drops for upgrades. Currency to upgrade or buy anything is way too low and prices have already sky rocketed on most items. So you are stuck in level 30 to 40ish gear at level 70 and can't do anything about it. The feeling of being so overwhelmingly under powered is ridiculous. Loot should be dropping to upgrade as we go through the ACTs and higher tier waystones. Instead we are left with nothing and when upgrading to a new weapon or piece of gear we left it feeling like nothing was upgraded at all. Most bosses are erratic and all over the place. This game does not give you the tools you need to succeed. You are left empty handed and wondering what the hell is going on half the time. No damage/combat log, so you never know what kills you. Go from 5.5k DPS on Lightening Spear to over 10k and there is literately no change when fighting mobs. I just doubled my DPS and it doesn't feel like anything at all just happened. The damn basic attacks have more DPS without any type of support gems than the skills I have with support gems. Like wtf GGG. |

Still annoyed LE felt compelled to push back their patch two weeks. PoE2 is every single problem PoE1 had--from bad loot and endless, unrewarding end game grinding to Line Go Up brainrot of mob and player speed and damage with little care given to a balanced progression--and is struggling hard to actually express its own identity and make fundamental progress in the ARPG space. LE suffers from being new, with a small team, and a monotonous end game, but it only has room to improve. PoE2 came with huge expectations and is failing to achieve basically any of them. It looks and feels amazing at first, but the biggest thing anyone wants out of an ARPG looter game--loot--is piss poor piles of nothing. Going on 240 hours on my warrior and STILL can't get the gear upgrades necessary to run yellow maps. Extra damage and resist loss/pen mods are thrown out immediately. I've been Tier 15 for at least 100 of those hours and still die so much to random bullshit one shots that the game is nothing but a giant stressor to play with nothing compelling me to play, no sense of progression, feeling like I'll never feel ready to try pinnacle bosses. It's such a garbage mess.
I never want to have to fight the slog that is the Lagon fight ever again, but LE at its base, all the way from its early access when I first purchased it, has shown tremendous potential and keeps slowly improving. I'm going to be ignoring PoE2 for a long while at this rate, because 0.2.0 did nothing to fix so many of the game's most inherent problems. Improvements to end game, sure, but nothing core is being properly addressed. Life/armour is still a red headed step child, melee is still being treated like an after thought, useful loot is still mindnumbingly rare and far between, and the end game plays entirely too differently from campaign because they still approach this game with PoE1 Line Go Up brainrot. LE respects player time with its crafting system and Factions system. PoE2 is trying to break a brick wall down with your skull. Once PoE2 makes crashing your head against a wall fun, I'll consider playing it again. |

" I dont care about the number. I hope it forces changes on GGG. Becouse right now they seem hardheaded and not realising this whole thing is going sideways. I think POE is sliding towards the ditch. GGG and specialy the leads are to proud or blind or both to do the changes/upgrades needed to make it actualy enjoyable and interesting. The last changes they made seemed to be a reaction to the interviewe and not something that they were going to do on theyr own. That tells me GGG doesnt seem to see or understand why people dont like the game much right now. There seem to be a disconection there. IF they were more people liking the current state of the game than disliking well... If that was the case they were not going to be reviewe bombings on steam and streamers just revoltinng and saying fuck it im not streaming this. I hope the game can get better. I want it to get better so i can enjoy playing it more. But im seeing pig headed leads trying to force theyr own lame not fun designs. People keep telling them thats not fun. Stop doing that. And the next update we se em double down on the same stuff. i dont know... Last edited by intersept#1235 on Apr 11, 2025, 3:31:50 PM

Who cares? GGG will still make updates/improvements to the game, no matter what.

Everything in that game looks so cheap, I'd rather play D4 or 10 years of settlers.

" There are plenty of us who still play original D2 (or Grim Dawn), I don't feel like graphics are the most important thing in ARPG's for many people. |
