Patch 0.2 Ruined My Build - Witch Overnerfed?
This is my first post so idk if it's in the right area
I’ve sunk a lot of time into Path of Exile 2, and Witch was by far my favorite class. I poured hours into crafting a build I really enjoyed — only for it to be completely gutted in Patch 0.2. I understand the need for balance changes, but this wasn’t a tweak — it was a total overcorrection. My build now does a fraction of its previous damage, and the class as a whole feels like it’s in the worst spot it's ever been. To make things worse, the game has been running poorly since the update. Frequent crashes and unstable servers are killing what little enjoyment I had left. What’s most disheartening is how little respect the patch shows for player investment. I’ve played through the campaign ten times — I’m burned out. When you grind out gear, test skills, and commit to a character only to have it destroyed in one patch without any path forward or compensation, it makes you not want to come back. Why get attached to any build if it might be deleted from viability overnight? If a player finds a skill or playstyle fun, there should be some viable way to build around it for endgame. Right now, that philosophy feels totally absent. GGG needs to remember: nerfing isn’t just numbers on a spreadsheet — it’s time and passion erased. Last bumped on Apr 11, 2025, 11:08:41 AM

It's EA you should expect builds being destroyed with high frequency. Even POE 1 which is already released in every league with balance changes some build disappears. Probably too late to warn you, but that's the nature of the game. In the future your build can come back, or maybe you can try others things.
